There are many problems that children face due to malnutrition.Malnutrition causes many serious diseases in children, which are not treated, even if treated, those children do not survive long due to treatment and finally this malnutrition becomes the cause of death.

  • Malnutrition cause underweight, stunting , deficiency of minerals and vitamins and wasting.
  • All these are severe problems that causes diseases in children. Stunting means low height for age.
  • Due to stunting, the child looks short for his age and his physical appearance is not good.Stunting is caused by malnutrition and due to this children cannot grow proper physically.
  • Wasting is another problem. Wasting is defined low weight for height. Child wasting refers that Children who are underweight for their height are very thin, lose weight quickly and fail to gain weight.

  • Malnutrition also cause obesity.

These are common problems in children due to malnutrition. Due to all these deficiencies and diseases, the children are not able to grow properly, due to which they are not able to perform any work properly, such as their performance at the school level is not good, Children are neither able to concentrate properly on their studies nor perform well in other activities.

The main cause of malnutrition is low food intake and utilization of essential nutrients.

There are many people who do not have access to foods that contain these essential nutrients. There are also some people who are not able to eat their fill because there is no enough food available for them. I think this is main factor that contributes to malnutrition, specially in developing countries.

There is also many other factors that contribute to malnutrition.

  • One of the major causes of poor nutrition is gastrointestinal disorders, due to which your digestive system is also disturbed and you are not able to digest food properly, due to which you lack nutrients.

  • Apart from this, due to some mental pressure and stress and due to the environment around you, you become so disturbed that you get tired of eating and drinking, because of this you do not want to eat or drink anything. They also suffer from malnutrition.
  • Drugs, cigarettes and alcohol may also contribute to malnutrition.

How can we prevent a child from these issues?

To protect children from all these diseases, we should take proper care of our children's diet, we should give them clean food that contains quality vitamins and essential nutrients.

We should pay special attention to the fact that the daily diet of children includes vitamins and nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin C, iron and calcium etc.

Along with good food, cleanliness should also be taken care of, such as food should be cooked well, clean utensils should be used, and children's exercise should also be taken care of properly. We should use fruits and vegetables for their healthy diet.

We should also use starch rich food like bread, potatoes and rice. For protein, we should use meal, eggs, fish and other milky and diary products. Parents should take special care of all these things for the good growth of their children so that their children do not suffer from any diseases due to lack of food.

you can give suggestions to improve health care of children in developing countries?

As we know, these problems caused by malnutrition occur only in mostly developing countries. Due to poverty in developing countries, people are not able to provide their children with good food, which causes diseases in children.

Pakistan is also a developing country where diseases occur in children due to malnutrition. Under the supervision of the present government, there is a lot of inflation in Pakistan, where it has become difficult for the poor people to have two meals a day.

And instead of saving us from inflation, instead of giving us relief, our government is increasing inflation day by day. Our government should reduce the inflation in Pakistan, but inflation in every developing country, give the poor people a good harvest of food, drink and treatment so that we can save the children of our nation from diseases like malnutrition.

Especially vegetables and fruits should be cheap and people should be given relief so that even poor people can buy good vegetables and fruits and feed their children well. Those who are poor, the government should help them, try to give them facilities and try to give them good food so that our country can get rid of these diseases and develop.

My suggestion is that the government should think for the children of their nation and help the poor people so that all the children are well-educated and can do something for their country.
