Write any 4 points that you know about colour blindness.

When you don't see colors in traditional way, it means you have color blindness. Color blindness is a disease of eyes. Our eyes contain certain nerve cells that help us see colors. When these nerve cells do not work properly or become damaged, we develop color blindness.

  • The main cause of color blindness is heredity, as the parents have a color blend, then it is passed on to the children, and then it is shifted from the children to the next generation.
  • Or if you have a disease that affects your eye like someone who has a brain tumor and because of that his eye is damaged then he gets color blindness.
  • An injury that causes an injury to your brain or an injury to your eyes can also cause color blindness. Often in old age the eyesight of the elderly becomes weak and they develop color blindness.

Can colour blindness in severe case be a cause of complete vision loss?(Is it a myth or truth justify)

I don't think you will lose your vision completely in severe color blindness. Because a classmate of mine has color blindness. She is severely color blind.

She has to look at the books with the help of glasses, understands it only through sounds during the lecture, she does not see anything written on the white board. She has been colorblind for quite some time but has not lost his sight at all.

She can't see distant things properly, but she can see near things a little bit. She is very hardworking and intelligent. But she can't see properly. She reads the book very close to her eyes with the help of glasses. It is truth.
