To be honest yes I have had a pretty scary ear-related experience when I was 10 I can never forget that day I made the mistake of using a cottonboard to clean my ear and I accidentally pushed it too far in, and it injured the inside of my ear, so I was too afraid to tell anyone, but as time passed, the pain grew, and I started to lose hearing in that ear it was also bringing out some things and it smells It was weeks and I couldn't hear properly with that ear it was my left ear.

So luckily for me my mom finally find out and she took me to the hospital immediately and the doctor examined my ear, I had to go through a thorough ear cleaning procedure, which was a bit painful though but it was worth it in the end. The doctor cleaned both my ears, and it was such a relief to be able to hear clearly again.

To be honest it was a tough lesson for me since that day I don't play with my ears even to clean it myself i don't do it I meet my mother and she will do help me clean it because she's actually a nurse and if she's not they I go to the hospital and seek help when something doesn't feel right.

To effectively treat and prevent ear infections:

As I already said seek medical attention if symptoms persist or worsen all you have to do is to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.

And again use antibiotics like if prescribed, complete the full course of antibiotics to clear the infection and also avoid using cotton swabs, and consider ear drops or irrigation to remove excess wax.

Also after showering or bathing, dry ears thoroughly to prevent bacterial growth and stay up-to-date on flu and pneumonia vaccines to reduce the risk of ear infections.

Lastly you have to practice good hygiene always wash hands regularly to prevent the spread of infection.
