Steemit Engagement Challenge / S11W3 - "Hereditary Diseases"
Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing very well. Today on the steemit engagement challenge season eleven and week three, I come to take part in the contest topic "Hereditary Diseases" here in the Healthy Steem community. You are all welcome to my blog.
Hereditary, also known as hereditary diseases, means sicknesses or diseases we inherit, like sicknesses that pass from one generation to another as they remain in the blood. I have improved the development of my content, as shown below with the questions given for this contest.
Did you know that many diseases are hereditary? |

So many diseases we have in the world are hereditary, as they are of a pre-existing nature. I had known this as far back as my teenage years, when I went to see a doctor concerning my health and got to learn about the hereditary sickness from there.
Here is a list of a few such diseases I would like to mention below:
- Asthma
- High blood pressure
- Diabetes
- Sickle-cell diseases
- Heart Diseases

I have a friend that suffered from asthma while in high school, so it happened that one afternoon while at my house, he started having difficulty in breathing because I put oil in my frying pan to fry plantains. Then I immediately rushed him to the hospital and realized he was suffering from asthma too.
It was then that he opened up to me because I was afraid, and he told me how he has been hiding it from people, including me, and also told me that his mom is suffering from the same disease. I asked if it was hereditary, and he said yes.
Do you take health forecasts regarding these diseases? |

It is better to take health forecasts regarding these diseases to be on the safe side than later say, "Had I known?" because of paying deaf ears to the health forecasts. It is also said in this general adage that "prevention is better than cure." So these diseases are dangerous, and taking into consideration the health forecast would be very helpful for these diseases.
Can hereditary diseases be cured? |

In rare cases, these diseases are being cured by science, but it takes the grace of God to erase such diseases from the lineage or blood of such kinds of people. Also, precaution is another better option, as this would help in some cases with things such as diseases that you never wanted.

You have given an authentic list of the hereditary diseases. Asthma, diabetes and high blood pressure are the most common of them.
Your high school friend was suffering from asthma too and he said it's his hereditary disease. I know many people too having such a hereditary diseases.
