Today, I am delighted to participate in this contest held by @khursheedanwar on Heart attack. A heart attack is an intensive condition which develops when blood supply to the heart is cut off. For heart health and to prevent loss of lives, it is very important to know what causes it, how it presents and how to prevent it.

Well, I do know what a heart attack is. A heart attack is defined as a reduced blood supply to heart muscles or the area of the heart muscle that is deprived of blood mostly due to a clot. This blockage can come out as chest pain or discomfort which may present as pressure or squeezing. They may also experience breathlessness, pain in the upper arms particularly left arm, neck, back or jaw and rarely nausea or light headedness. They may even be different for women and symptoms can be different too. These are all important aspects for recognizing these signs to seek for an immediate medical attention.

The major symptoms of a heart attack can vary from person to person, but there are some common signs to watch for:

🔹Chest Pain or Discomfort: This is also the most conspicuous one. People describe it like a pressure, constricting feeling or even worse, squeezing in the chest. The pain may be severely throbbing for a few minutes, or may intermittent suddenly.

🔹 Shortness of Breath: You might have trouble breathing or feel you can barely breathe especially if you have chest pain.

🔹Pain in Other Areas of the Body: The discomfort may reach other parts of the body such as the arms, preferable the left one, shoulders, back, neck, jaw or stomach alongside the chest area.

🔹Cold Sweats: The excess saliva production without any cause, associated with drooling sometimes.

🔹Nausea or Vomiting: Symptoms of a heart attack for some people, particularly women, include nausea and vomiting.

🔹Fatigue: Hear, specially in women, weakness, especially if we had no intense activities, may be a sign.

🔹Dizziness or Lightheadedness: Dizziness, particularly the sensation of fainting, or light headedness, sometimes accompanied, or preceded, by a feeling of discomfort in the chest.

Although the generality is a heart attack, it is also crucial to recognize that not everybody is going to present symptoms in the same way, and, in fact, a heart attack can occur silently with very little to no symptoms. If these signs happen, this ought to happen immediately; medical attention must be sought at once.

To control the heart attack ratio, focus on these key actions:

🔹Healthy Diet: Have more fruits, veggies and whole grain products and read more salt, sugar and bad fats.

🔹Regular Exercise: Take moderate exercise for at least 30 minutes per day. Quit Smoking: Do not smoke anything because it might lower your chances of a heart attack.

🔹Manage Stress: Several relaxation techniques should be practiced as they help make the stress levels come down.

🔹Control Blood Pressure and Cholesterol: Annual physical examination, and if there are some issues, then it will take medications.

🔹Maintain Healthy Weight: Make an effort and keep a healthy weight throughout your life. Limit Alcohol: Beverage in moderation to support heart health.

Thus, with the help of these habits and raising the awareness of the population, the proportion of people having heart attacks can be much decreased, which will lead to improved population’s heart health.

Heart-attack have claimed so many lives. And if not properly dealt with, it'll still be in the business of claiming more lives.
Adaptation of healthy lifestyle like ; physical activity, weight check, reduce intake of cholesterol and also reduction in stress level can limit an individual's chances of experience this attack.
