Sleep is an important habit in human's, it is important as food and breathing. A machine works, takes input and convert it into output, a machine requires service for maintenance; which includes checking the electric related things, oil, it's important parts and it's working ability to be reused for work and to provide output. So, does human needs food and sleep for recovery, daily work absorbs humans ability of work so humans need rest to recover from from tiredness. Sleep is the behavior which help humans to refresh them from tiredness, sleep is resting behavior which regains mental powers of people. The body muscles need rest, so does the brain to stop working for some hours to regain it's strength.

Q: How much adequate amount of sleep is beneficial for good health.

  • For every type of age of humans there are different time of sleep needed for them. For babies the amount of sleep is more than adults.

  • Babies sleep for than 10 hours, there body is building; every muscle is growing and building so they sleep more time than other age people.

  • For youngers, 6 to 10 years the sleep time is normally 9 hours. These age kids are also growing, there growth muscles are in charge so they also need more sleep to grow faster.

  • The adults, young adults from 16 to 30 years, the sleep timing is from 7 to 8 hours, this stage of life goes under many responsibilities due to which there sleep is less than 8 hours but the normal and healthy resting time is precisely 8 hours to regain strength.

  • Then comes the older people, they are also weaker like children, the older you get the weaker you become after 45 years of age, your strength is becoming less with increasing age, so the sleep is increasing for those people. Their resting time is increasing from 8 hours.

Q: Problems that may cause by lack of sleep.

With lack of sleep there are a lot of problems, I will list them in a table.

StressLess sleep, increases stress; your mind is hurting and you feel like your brain is filled with gas type affect.
PainYour brain will be in pain so does your muscles will be tired, you will not be able to work properly.
Brain operationYour brain will not operate properly, memory and thinking side of brain is affected.
TirednessContinuously yawning, feel sleepy and your eyes are producing tears due to inadequate sleep.
WorklessYou are unable to work properly, both physical and mental activities.

Q: problems that may cause by excess of sleep.

Excess sleep causes problems but that are not that much problematic but it is good to be careful while sleeping, with a lot of sleep you can loss many things.

  • Anxiety: With excess sleep your body increases anxiety and you will feel angry,
  • Obesity: Sleeping all the way and no activities so fatness is which is gonna occur to your body.
  • Tiredness: Your muscles are stuck in one place and your body will only crave for sleep, it might results in heart attack because no blood circulation in the body.
  • Diabetes: Eating and resting without physical activities can lead to diabetes because your are increasing your body sugar level and it is not broken down which can cause diabetes.
