Lung cancer is the type of cancer that occurs in the cells and causes tumors to grow in the lung. Lung cancer is very common in today's world. In fact, it is one of the leading causes of death among people who smoke cigarettes. Although lung cancer can also occur in people who don't smoke cigarettes, smokers have higher chances of being infected.

Symptoms:

Symptoms of lung cancer normally occur when the disease reaches the advanced stage. These symptoms include:

• Difficulty breathing
• Tiredness
• Loss of appetite
• Discomfort in the chest
• Wheezing
• Continuous coughing over time
• Weight loss

It is advisable to seek medical attention if any of these signs are discovered early.

Causes:

We do not know what causes the changes that result in cancer, but certain causes are:

• Smoking cigarettes

• Exposure to dangerous substances such as air pollution, silica, and so on

• Hereditary

Treatment:

Early treatment is better as it can kill the cancerous cells or prevent them from growing in number. Treatments used for getting rid of lung cancer include the following:

• Surgery: Your doctor can carry out the surgery to remove the cancerous cells and any other health conditions that surround the area. The health practitioner will make sure they don't leave any traces of cancer cells during the operation.

• Radiation therapy: Radiation is used as a high-energy result to rid of cancer cells that grow in the lung.

• Chemotherapy: This is the combination of using one or more drugs to destroy the cancer cells. Chemotherapy is very common in treating cancer from growing.

Conclusion
