Your experience reminds me of one that I had recently with auto-backing up of photos. On my laptop, I sync with the cloud and whilst showing my 6yo some photos, I watched as the photos in my local folder slowly disappeared. Apparently syncing with the cloud where one was somehow deleting the other. That heart wrenching feeling of panic as years of baby photos - synchronously deleted from their original source and intended backup destination, without obvoius cause...

Fortunately, they also had a 30 days archive so I was able to retrieve the items that I think I lost but I was left wondering, has it done this before and how much have I lost?

Is "the Cloud" worth this level of stress and anxiety?
