I first started my day by sending a gratitude message to my boss, my sister, and my mom. Appreciating them for being amazing women in my life.

Then I had my usual morning routine, took my bath, and ate my food before leaving for work.

I had to create a flyer for the client I handle their social media handle to celebrate the International Women's Day.

In school, we handled a case of theft. A student came and reported that someone had lost her money. It was a serious case because she had wanted to use the money to settle some dues at home. She was weeping bitterly that she couldn't go home without the money or paying the fees. It was a surprise to me that the class hadn't made such a complaint before. This causes the students to carry their school bags around wherever they go.

By noon, we engaged in some running by the students. They were preparing for a running competition with another school. This wasn't the main competition but to select the athletes that would represent the school during the inter-school competition.

By 12:30 pm, we went for the weekly prayers that the school always has to thank the Lord for a successful week.

By 2: 00 pm, I went to fill my cylinder only to realize that the price of each kg had gone up. A kg of gas is now 1400 naira. It's just something else that people can hardly fill their cylinders.

By 6: 00 pm, Attended an online webinar hosted by an NGO - Women of Might on telegram on the webinar topic: Embracing Your Unique.

The speaker gave an in-depth meaning to the IWD2024- Invest in women: Accelerate progress.

No woman is left behind in their growth. A world that is covered and difference is accepted as being unique instead of being sidelined. Where our extraordinary skill is valued and celebrated.

Inspired inclusion has a different perspective. Our differences and diversity should be explored and each woman not be limited and pushed to a corner. It's not about projecting a particular gender or person to take up a role but it is for everyone. That whatever you have should be brought to life.

When the speaker was asked how a woman can deal when you get to that level where you feel ashamed or lost.

• To respond in an empowering or affirmative manner to difficult situations or challenges you can handle. Those times are when you need to call your nerves and not rush through the process.

• If that doesn't work, you can surround yourself with people who would help uplift your spirit. Build a system of people who will always be there for you even at your lowest points.

• Another way to deal with the situation is to Practice journaling. In case you don't know, journaling is powerful. It's therapeutic and exhilarating. It's more like you venting and ranting on papers instead of always being hot-tempered and attacking people.

The event was amazing, filled with quizzes and games each woman participated in.

After the webinar, I had my dinner and went online to round up the remaining tasks I had not concluded.
