First signs of Christmas

 

It is weekend and after being working long days for almost the whole week we finally have the time to catch up on some sleep, good breakfast and also for a long walk.

Usually on weekend we also decide to buy some nice stuff for weekend, it is usually some good treat for us, because normal food for cooking and vegetable with fruits it is something we get throughout the week. That are almost the same from week to week but occasionally we decide to get something different.

You probably noticed that it is already time that is approaching Christmas, we hear often how our colleagues are planning their Christmas dinner for the department and already booking places in local restaurants.

Usually we are away for Christmas time and we often do not visit such gathering. It does not feel like that is almost more than 9 months since beginning of the year. Also October is the time when we will change the time to winter time on last Sunday of the month.

Today when we were in supermarket then we have noticed these chocolate teddy bears that usually appear on shelves to Christmas time. You probably noticed that they are in such sweaters with the winter pattern. These chocolate is from “Lindt” that is Swiss chocolate company and I must say they are completely different from taste point of view and that is what we usually buy at least once during Christmas time.

It was two years ago when we decided to visit a Christmas market and there was a stand with chocolates where you could buy a ticket for “preparing a Swiss chocolate”, of course they did not share the recipe and it was already ready mixed so the people could just mix up their own chocolate using berries, raisins, nuts and so on. Just own mixture, we decided to take part and created our own version. My one was with nuts and raisin and it was very delicious the taste is exactly the same like those Teddy Bears from “Lindt”

We decided to take these two today, for now they are just decorating our piano, but who knows maybe later today we can have some tea with chocolate. Wishing you nice and sweet Sunday!
