The events last days that is in majority of news channels is flooding in Europe like Romania, Poland, Czech republic, Northern Austria. It was already announced last week that the weather is going to be rainy and many countries had some time to prepare themselves. As usually people are they do not want to leave their home and it is understandable. We have everything there, all what we built with our hands, our living space, place where we spent time with family, children and friends. I remember reading that many said that such weather was few years ago and it was not really much rain as foreseen. This time there were also many who decided to stay.
The amount of water was overwhelming during very short time such volume, that firefighter were not able to be at every place where they were received calls.
When I think about myself then I try to think what I would do if it would be me being in such situation? I think I would not wait to long and if I hear that there is such flooding is expected, it is important to have documents, appropriate clothes for the weather of that season and some money because in the situation of any emergency there will be no cash machine working so having cash is important that will make you mobile. I would probably leave for the time being and visit my relatives who hopefully will be able to give me a shelter for the period of time.
It is important that we all learn swimming just in case of such catastrophe in order to be able to swim or not to drown. It is good to have some swimming classes while in school or even later when we are grown up it is also not later to learn swimming.
For the government it is important to be able to inform people and organise evacuation but also to ask for help the neighbour countries, it is important to get help early and to organise some measurement to prevent losses.

You made an amazing participation to the contest. I can’t imagine how people evacuate in such situations. Life is more important than all possessions, which can be earned later. I hope everyone is safe and sound.

Thank you for reading, yes, it is a big loss at once of everything, often people still glad to be alive at the end. Despite of that being predicted still there were few who died and that is most devastating for relatives. We hope that rain fall will settle and people start restoring what was damaged.

The recent flood which was going through in Europe, especially in Romania, Poland, and in Northern Australia was really damaging. People were being warned about the news of heavy rain but many chose to keep stay at home because leaving behind everything they’d worked for its difficult. Their mind of thought can be understandable but life safety is most important than these situations. Being prepared is a good that you have mentioned. Keeping important docs, appropriate clothing and cash really helps people in this major natural crisis occured. We should all know the skill of swimming which is a most important essential in this expected natural calamities. In this such disaster, we should prepared physically as well as mentally which will help us more in our lives.
