When I was looking for a topic for writing for the contest, I came across this article on BBC and it is a Student life and how expensive it will be now to become your education.
In England the higher education for Students is not for free like in Scotland so young people who would like to continue their education and become specialists have to paid. Of course, some students have wealthy families or their parents can pay because they have good paid job. Majority of students get student loan from Government, that means your borrow for your study and after graduation you will paid back to Government through your salary that you receive provided you receive a job.
Understandably, the more you borrow the more your loan will be. On one hand it is good for young people who do not have financial support to get the same opportunity to be trained and to receive a job that you dream of, of course, you need to study well and try to get best marks with good Diploma of completion of University. At the end as everywhere it is important to have a good certificate in order to get a good job. Often the employer would like to have your written CV before they decided to invite you for an interview. So good CV with many evidences of hard work, like taking part in seminars, publications of some research work will positively influence the result of the your interview and give you more points when compared to other participants.
Recently, since a new election in UK when we have Labour Party and Conservative party has gone, there are a lot of changes. I would say a lot of cutting expenses and increasing taxes. The government is trying to scratch money together for the budget. Now we see it impacting the young people. I do not know the reaction of people, parents whose children are students and also students themselves. Even though we, many are not happy with that but what we can change? Nothing! We just need to try to get to our goal no matter what will be on our way. It is a sad news and that is the topic of my week.
I am inviting following users for contest: @rumanaafroz, @sana-khan01, @vickyson
Hi @wuddi,
Thank you for contributing 25% of your post to community growth.
Oh, it's sad to hear about the challenges students face in affording their education. Despite these challenges, as you mentioned, students should be inspired to work harder and find ways to achieve their goals somehow.
Thank you for participating in the contest... Good Luck!
