Sorry, we had four crazy days. The las 48 hours without electricity.
Luckily we are back online.

Are you organizing such a contest? I can keep them busy everywhere by visiting small communities and forgotten contests that might need a boost, but it has to fit into the "program" and stimulate creativity, which is not possible with fixed titles and such. Even if no questions are asked, some see them everywhere and write a questionnaire where they fill in the answers.
48 hours without electricity, it would mean no water to me but the rest is fine. Did you enjoy being offline?
I slept one hour last night but at least I have a couch now. Hurray. I need a loooog rest.

Hello!
I'm back.
Friday morning, my daughter and her family knocked at our door at 2:00am. There were reports of severe snowstorms, and they decided to leave before the bad weather. Luckily they came through as our province went into a lockdown due to the road. I had guests that could not leave, guests that could not check in. It was crazy.
Then there was no electricity, and to crown it, for the last 2 days I could not lift my head. I had flu and bronchitis. First it was the two men, and then I joined them. Gosh, what a week I had.
Today is a public holiday, and all the roads are open again. My daughter and them just left for home, and I feel human again.
Now it is catching up time!

Oh dear, that was a week! Snow?! My son and I lately talked if the cat ever experienced it. We don't think so.
I never associate South-Africa with snow ☹️ South means warm, good weather to me. What happened to Summer, sun, typing on the porch?
Did time pass by that fast?
Ik moet toegeven dat de dagen hier ook korter zijn. De zonnige dag is kort en het huis voelt alweer erg koud en de herfst is pas net begonnen.
Ik moet nog steeds hout stapelen, de banken zijn er, mijn zoon had een auto ongeluk en gisteren was het weer raak met de bus (1 of 2 overleden), ik ben druk met larven verwijderen van het plafond (motten) en moet nog een vlieg ticket boeken voor de jongste die op ziet tegen school na 6 mnd werk.

My liewe vriendin, die hele ou wereld van ons is deurmekaar. Dit bly die weer is maar net nog 'n toevoegsel.
Sneeu op die bergpieke is algemeen by ons in die winter maar dit is waar die eindig. Die was die swaarste sneeu wat ons nog gehad het en dit in die lente. 1,800 Motors het vasgesit in die sneeu en 2 persone het gesterf.
Dit was ook ons koudste paar dae van die jaar. Geen wonder ons drie was siek.
Gaste van Duitsland het vir ons vertel dat hulle skaars sneeu gehad het die jaar. Nou kom hulle Suid Afrika toe vir 'n somer vakansie en hulle kry sneeu hier.
Gister and was dit op die nuus dat die warmste dag nog ooit op aarde was die jaar op 22 Junie. Erens is daar beslis iets besig om te gebeur.
Ai! Ek is jammer om te hoor van jou seun. Ek hoop van harte dat hy nie seer gekry het nie. Die kinders. Al is hulle groot bly hulle nog ons babas.
Ek hoop jy kan darem noual 'n bietjie rus.
