Good day Steem for ladies, I want to first of thank @m-fdo for this wonderful contest topic. I took a picture some days back and edited it myself, and I think now is the right time to show my masterpiece to the world.

Housefly, scientifically called (Musca domestica), it is a common fly known worldwide for its nuisance behavior, it lives in human habitats, Especially where there is food available. They have a short lifespan, Ranging only from 15 to 25 days. Although, they undergo complete metamorphosis, (from egg - larva - maggot - pupa - adult).
Houseflies are carrier of various diseases, because they feed on Feces, garbages and on decaying organic matter, they carry pathogens in the process of feeding and transfer them to human surfaces and. They reproduce rapidly, and this contributes to their prolific presence in environments where the sanitation is poor. Although Control measures include use of insecticides and sanitation practices, such as proper waste management. Lastly the houseflies can also be useful, as they break down organic matters, they play a role in the ecosystems as decomposers.

Tabanidae fly, popularly known as (horsefly or deer fly), is a big-biting insect found around most parts of the world. You can recognize them for their painful bites, which they use to feed on animals blood, including human's. The are often found in grassy area or near water, where they usually lay their eggs.
Horseflie's life cycle is (from egg - larva - pupa - adult). Unlike the housefly, they are mostly active during the summer. Economically they also play a role in controlling populations of other insects and serving as food for birds and other predators. We can control them by the use of insect repellents or wear protective clothing when spending time outdoors.

Housefly are carrier of disease and I hate it anytime it flies into my food because that food is contaminated. I hate the sound of it too because it stops me from having a good nap and it is add to kill without insecticide.

First I must commend the picture quality of your camera.
Secondly thanks for sharing this educative article, I never knew the scientific name of house fly till I read this article. I am not a science student though.
I detest the fly though because it's a very noisy fly, it can make a hell of noice.

Thanks very much, no one likes houseflies, but we have to endure, cause they will never finish, they are part of nature. All we can do is to prevent them 🙂🙂
