Choices! What will it be? #37

Introduction

Everyday we are laced with decision and required to pick one out of a number of alternatives, this is called making a choice.

The year leaps and runs and soon we closing. What has your choices led you to.

Today, thanks to @patjewell, we are laid with different choices to make a selection and I did love to invite @vudeme123, @yhudy and @eveetim to participate.

So this week I choooseeee...... SANTA CLAUS

My choice

Who's that old man that goes around on an all red? makes the kids in the hood get riled up and be on their best behaviour as he rewards good kids by granting their wishes.

He rides on a sledge pulled by eight powerful deers. He's always present at every kids Christmas party, with his long grey beards and big boots.

Wowwww...you guessed right it's the
santa Claus who's also known as Father Christmas

LET ME TELL A STORY ABOUT SANTA CLAUS

It was the end of the year and on this very day, somewhere in the cold winter, sat a boy watching the bright moon and then he said, "oh that Santa Claus would fulfill my wish; I need a new sketchbook and colour pencils for my artworks.

At this moment the door leading to the porch slid open and then a charming lady steps out of the porch and with quick light steps walk to her son. Seeing him worry, she pays his shoulder, sit by his side and asked him what's wrong.

Oh mommy, if I could have my wish granted this December, I did be the most happiest boy on earth. His mother patted his back and said, why not write a letter to Santa Claus, you've been a good and obedient boy, so I'm sure santa would grant your wishes.

And that being said, he ran inside his house, got a piece of paper, a mail paper and a pen, he then wrote.

Dear Santa,

I am so happy to write to you again this Christmas, I have been a very good boy to my mommy and daddy, I have respected my elders and have not stayed away from school not even once.

Now my dear Santa, can I please make one wish, I want a new sketchbook and colour pencils. Meet my wishes and I shall forever be a good child.

I love you Santa.

When he was done he sealed the letter in an envelope, and on the envelope he wrote;

He then took the envelope to the chimney of the house and placed it there. He came back smiled at his mom, hugged her and went to bed feeling expectant.

The next morning, he woke up and rushed to check if Santa has taken his letter. But to his surprise, his letter wasn't taken. He went back to his mommy and cried bitterly.

Mommy I've been a good boy, I've always listened to you and papa, why has Santa not received my letter. "John maybe Santa had diarrhea and couldn't come last night". His mother consoled.

Unknown to both mother and son, a fat man with white beards, red wollyclothes and a round rimmed spectacles (Santa Claus) flew above their roof in a carriage pulled by 8 reindeer had taken his letter.

Sulking, John went to his room, he opened the door and on his bed lay a well wrapped package tied in a bow with a red ribbon. Excited, he ran to his bed and unwrapped the package. On it was written,

John was so excited he opened the package and behold lay, his sketch pad and his colour crayons. Excited he set out to draw Santa on the first page, Here's what he drew .......

this is a fictional story of my own making, this drawing was also created by me.
