Greetings to the beautiful ladies and other steemians all over the world. Happy weekend to you all; thank God it's Friday make sure you wine and unwind. There's a saying that says "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy". My darlings house doesn't get finished a day so give yourselves a break.

It's a new week of "Tell your story", I appreciate @ruthjoe for organizing and don't forget me @tripple-e.

Can you cross your hearts as a way of assuring me that you are not going to laugh at me on what I'm about telling you? Anyways what is my own, I'll still tell you my story whether you laugh, pity me or not, although it was embarrassing but nevertheless I'm still going to share my experience if you like laugh at me all you can, after all you are doing it at my back 🤣.
(My inner voice; did I hear you just consoling yourself?) Yes! And leave me the heck alone.

It all happened on Monday when I was out to get something from a friend but getting to her place I met her absence, I was angry because she was expecting me then what is this?, I tried calling her but my network wasn't favourable, oh God! How I hates the feeling of waiting on the roadside for someone because the mentality of a typical Nigerian seeing standing on the roadside would think you are waiting for a "man" and also passers by looking at you as if you don't know your destination. Although it's a free world one is permitted to think and assumed whatever they like.

Then while in my confused state; her called came in, she apologized for stepping out knowing fully well that I was coming explaining that she had an emergency that please I should hang around that she will be back in a jiffy. So I sighted a buka(restaurant) around and I decided to stepped in there and wait for me friend to return.

When I needed the inner voice most to stop me from entering that restaurant I didn't hear from him again, could it be that because I told him to leave me the heck alone earlier?. Hmmmm!
My friends as I stepped into the restaurant I was welcomed by a delicious aroma of cooked beans spiced with enough onions that spread all over the whole environment that can make even a mad man not to resist it, so I couldn't resist it either. That was how I sat down and ordered for a plate to use it to while away time although I was actually hungry.

I enjoyed the beans no doubt but I didn't know I used my money to buy problem oooooo eeh!. Immediately I finished eating my friend came back she asked what I was doing there that she has food in the house I told her I couldn't just resist the aroma of the beans and I started praising how delicious it was but she just responded "OKAY O! If you say so".
Peace my friend there was something you were not telling me, I hate and love you 😜.

So we went into her house to gist and do all the chitchat, since I had already eaten I told her to convert the food into my transport fare; that's how we roll. After all the gists it was time for me to leave so my friend saw me off to the road so I could board a minibus, we hugged and I left. All along I didn't know that the beans was taking it time to rule in my stomach as I sat in the bus I heard a rumbling in my stomach bruuuuuuuuu! Eeh, why wait till now, immediately I started sweating in a cold weather, I was practically shaking, I couldn't sit well I unconsciously squatted, I became so uncomfortable that a guy that sat close noticed and ask if I was alright; why won't he ask am I not a fine girl?. I told him I was fine but just having stomach upset.

I don't know if he said something else because all I could hear in my both ears was TOILET at that time; but the road seems longer than necessary, I was just mumbling some prayers oh God do not disgrace your daughter. Then finally I got to the entrance of my street, normally I suppose to have trekked in between my house isn't far from the main road but I picked a tricycle a drop; getting there I told the rider to stop he was surprised, I told him not to worry that he won't understand.

Then I raced to my apartment, the rest is history maybe you can come and ask my toilet if you really want to know what transpired 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Lesson Learnt:

My darlings it is not all bukas, restaurants and even all those expensive eateries you should trust. Try to always prepare your meals by yourself because you'll trust the process and methods.
In a nutshell; Home made food is the best.
