Some people love money, other people pay for love.
That was not exactly the answer though, so what would I choose?

I've had moments when I had a bit more money in my life (never Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk level of money, obviously, but I was living comfortably), and I had moments when I was poor enough to learn twenty different ways to prepare pasta with onions - the only two ingredients I could afford :)

Now, it's an extreme, and if we are talking about being in love but starve or being alone but rich, obviously I choose the option that gives me more chances to survive. It's an animal instinct, nobody wants to die, even if the agony would be accompanied with the love poem of our equally poor partner. If we will ignore the extreme, and we will put on the plate two options:
a) living lower-middle class life with plenty of love or
b) living upper-middle or upper class life solo
then I choose love

Each time I was traveling, learning new skills, discovering new meals in my life, I was getting the same amount of pleasure, or even more of it, from sharing those moments, experiences and my thoughts about it with people in around. Not having love, especially understood in less obvious way, not only as romantic feeling, but also love to our friends or even to ourselves, would be challenging.
