My neighbor whose name is Cynthia,,, has been in an amazing relationship with her boyfriend whose name is Emmanuel. I call them both Aunty and Uncle because they are of age. Aunty Cynthia's relationship is so sweet and unique that I always wish to have a loving relationship as theirs.

They met during their university days, and since then till their graduation, they have been together, they have bonded so well that their relationship became the envy of everyone in our neighborhood. Uncle Emmanuel is so loving, caring, intelligent, and kind-hearted. Aunty Cynthia is so happy and grateful that their path crossed because, there is no time she doesn't showers Uncle Emmanuel with words of praises.

The only thing she often complains about is the fact that Uncle Emmanuel is not financially stable. She has been managing and enjoying the relationship like that, but at some point, she got tired and started craving for a more exciting, and adventurous relationship. So at this point, she started giving Uncle Emmanuel attitudes. That was when Joshua came in.

Joshua is a new guy who recently packed to our community, the guy is so wealthy and charming that every lady who is materialistic will do anything just to have him. So fortunate for Aunty Cynthia, the Guy fell in love with her. He asked her out and she hurriedly accepted to be his girlfriend. Forgetting all the beautiful moments they have shared together with Uncle Emmanuel.

After a week in her new found relationship, She met Uncle Emmanuel and ended things officially with him. Uncle Emmanuel pleaded with Aunty Cynthia to give him another chance so He can double his hustle to make more money in order to make her happy, but she turned deaf ears to all his plead. She left Uncle Emmanuel in tears and so heartbroken😥😥.

It wasn't easy for Uncle Emmanuel to move on with his life because, He genuinely loves and care so much about Aunty Cynthia. Whereas, Aunty Cynthia in the other hand, was busy traveling and going to different places with her new boyfriend, enjoying her new found Man, not minding how Uncle Emmanuel was fairing. Though,, that is the kind of life she had always wanted.

Few months later,, Aunty Cynthia found out that the new guy she fell in love with because of his wealth, is a chronic womanizer and a drunker. Initially, He pretended to be a good person,, but as time goes on, He started showing his true self. He uses every slightest opportunity He gets to beat Aunty Cynthia.

At this point,, Aunty Cynthia started regretting her actions and inadequate decision, by leaving a guy who truly and genuinely loved her just for material things (Wealth). The beaten became worse, that Aunty Cynthia was left with no other option than to end things with Joshua, in order to save her life from the dangers that lies ahead.

Aunty Cynthia's regret grew with each passing day. She cries day and night wishing that she never made the mistake of leaving Uncle Emmanuel for another random guy. She wished she can turn back the hands of time to appreciate the beauty of their relationship with Uncle Emmanuel but reverse was the case.

She was so desperate to reconnect with Uncle Emmanuel, so Aunty Cynthia reached out to Uncle Emmanuel, hoping that they rekindle their love but at this point, Uncle Emmanuel mind was already made up, He has longed moved on and has sworn not to accept Aunty Cynthia back to his life again, because of how shattered and heartbroken he was when she left him.

All the constant cry and plead from Aunty Cynthia to Uncle Emmanuel for them to rekindle their love,, yielded no result because, Uncle Emmanuel was already in another beautiful relationship with someone else before she realized her mistake.

Uncle Emmanuel finally got married to his new girlfriend, last month and is happily leaving with his loving wife. Whereas,, Aunty Cynthia in the other hand, is still single and hoping to find another Uncle Emmanuel so she can get married. Aunty Cynthia confused excitement with love,, and ended ruining her beautiful and unique relationship.

Aunty Cynthia still leaves in regret and pain till date.

What I Have Learned From It

I have learned that true love is not just about excitement and adventures,, but the shared moments of laughter, depth commitment are what genuine love means.

I have also learned to appreciate the beauty in stability and value of true love.
