Tell your story#13(God saved me from an accident😢)

This contest titled: has always been an amazing and a wonderful contest and I love to share my participation in it.

My story

Today being the 13th day of September 2024, I woke up as early as 4:30am in order to prepare food for my niece and nephew because they usually go to school before 7:00am. So I woke up very early, I prepared their food and woke them up so they can I bath them and get them set for school.

I took them to school and returned back home to continue with the house chores. When I returned I swept and mopped the house, after that I washed the dirty plates and clothes too.

When I was done with the house chores, I made breakfast for myself, my aunty and uncle has already left for work so I was the only person left at home. When I was done eating I decided to rest, I slept for 3hours. Around 12:30am, I woke up and took bath. And when it was almost 1:00pm, I went to pick my niece and nephew from school.

At exactly 2:10pm, I got a call from my uncle, he asked me to carry the tags they were going to use for LCC REVIVAL RETREAT to the church. He was supposed to go with it while going for work in the morning but it skipped his mind.

I took the tags and went to the road side and entered Keke to the church. It is 30minutes away from my house. Thank God there wasn't hold up on the way today, so I was able to reach the church before the program commenced.

Immediately I gave him the tags, I left the church premises. On my way coming back home, when I was about crossing the road to the other side to enter keke back home, I didn't look carefully before I entered the road, not knowing that a car was coming very close to me.

Before I should notice, the car was very close to me already and the car almost hit me but people shouted and I was able to run and miraculously Crossed without being hit by the car.

when I ran and the car passed. I started giving thanks to God for saving me from an accident that might possibly take my life assuming it eventually happened because, the car was actually on speed. So I took Keke immediately I I safely crossed and returned home.

So I return all the glory to God for saving my soul🙏🙏🙏

What I learned

I have actually learned my lesson, from now henceforth, before I cross the road, I will ensure I check the road very carefully before crossing, in order to be in the safer side and to prevent accident from happening.
