Food Thought #27| Give your Best at It!
Hello friends,
Welcome to this week's food thought. I missed last week due to various commitments, but I'm back now.
Today, I want to discuss the idea of "giving your best." You might wonder why this matters. It's because many people ignore others' problems if they don't affect them directly. Giving your best means showing care and concern for everyone, even if they are your boss.
Some employees only put in effort when the boss is around. It's important to give your best in everything you do. Whether in your relationship with God or in your daily tasks, strive to do your best.
When I first started teaching, I would arrive at school by 6 AM and wait for my colleagues. One day, the principal noticed my punctuality and gave me the school keys. Over time, she recognized me as one of her top teachers, and I received an award for being the best teacher of the year, which led to some jealousy among my peers.
Focus on doing your best, regardless of what others say or do. Whether you are a seamstress, a football player, a cook, or a spouse, always strive to excel.
Wherever you are, put in your best effort and trust the rest to God. Small efforts can lead to great results. Someone may be watching you, and you never know when good fortune will come your way. Always aim to do your best in everything, from your appearance to your cooking.
In your interactions with others, give your best. Approach life confidently by putting in your best effort. Don't settle for just good when you can achieve better.
What you put out into the world is what you will receive in return, so don’t be fooled by appearances or words. Focus on doing the right thing and give it your all.
Even if you don’t receive payment for your efforts, put in your best work. Life isn’t just about money; the rewards you gain will far exceed any small amount you were hoping for. Strive to do your best because life is too short to keep following the same routine. Explore new methods and observe the outcomes. Commit to giving your best and see what happens.
I hope this message inspires you in some way. Best of luck!
See you next week!
