The Diary Game Contest#70: (My Junior sisters matriculation)!

in Steem For Ladiesyesterday (edited)

Hi beautiful family. How are you all doing? I'm glad to be present here once again. Before I proceed further, I would love to share the title of the dairy I'm to consider today:

My junior sister matriculation

There are users here that will doubt me, because they may think my junior is the elder. Meanwhile, she is my junior.

What is Matriculation?

From my own perspective, Matriculation is an events generally conducted by all University in Nigeria and in diaspora for the celebration of the newly admitted students.

The picture above is the picture of my junior sister. She has been praying for this beautiful day to come to reality, reading back to back, covering different schemes, passing through catalytic examinations (Jamb, NECO, and Waec). In Nigeria, been flowered with good grades is not always an easy task to accomplish, except for God's inclusion through your invitation during prayer.

I have also been wishing for this beautiful day to come. I was tired of seeing my sister in a phase of no progress. I thank God for this breakthrough. The day she received her admission letter from University of Port Harcourt Uniport, the kind of happiness that flewed into her facial expression was quite an unforgettable one.

The picture above is me. The moment I heard that my junior sister was given an admission. I had to book flight from Benin Republic down to Nigeria. I did this unaware. She didn't know I was coming. I only told my parents and pleaded with them not to tell anybody. I didn't even know that her matriculation celebration was quite approaching, until I observed Mummy and Daddy packaging jellof rice and chicken, into a well-caged plastic plate.

In the next 30 minutes, I observed as my junior sister bounced out majestically with her iron-dark shoe and matric gown. “What's going on?, I asked. Nobody seems to answer. Next, I heard the car sound. I rushed out, low and behold it was Mummy and Daddy set to leave. I immediately dressed up and joined the car.

Fortunately, they have started. My junior rushed in immediately and thank God she was just few seconds late. After everything, she came out, we ate, dance, celebrate with other of her course mates and also took some pictures.

This was how I spent my day. I really enjoyed this events. It was really amazing.
