SEC19 W2: "This is our style"

Hello awesome Steemit community! 🌸

It is hard to believe we are already in the SECOND week of the 19th Steemit Challenge. Time can fly when you are having fun telling stories. This week's topic is, "This is how we do it," and I am eager to dive in. It is all about you of course but now we switch our focus to family.💕

All families are peculiar, and mine is no exception. I am a Filipino psychology Grad and I am from Mayondon, Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines. You better believe it, I love my little family. I am now 23 years old, and I am soooo bleeding inlove with my family.

Our squad is mom, dad, and five siblings. Yep, we're six rambunctious little monkeys! Our house? It's basically a pinball machine full of smiles, warmth, and just a hint of madness. Picture a jumble of smiles, laughter, arguments, and hugs, with brightly colored walls, soft furniture, and walls covered in family pics and kid drawings. Remedies: movie night in the living room, mom baking in the kitchen. The Pinoy dishes she cooks don’t count.

Family Parties and Routines 🎉

Our family likes throwing orgies. We do it for birthdays, for holidays, and even if it's just the weekend. There's always an excuse to party. Our orgies have music, food, and a lot of screaming. We Filipinos love singing, but my dad is the best. We have a lot of rituals, especially on Christmas Eve. In the evening we all come together and eat Christmas Eve dinner. After dinner, we open the presents. This time is happy and it is full of cheer and good will.

Our Unique Blend of Personalities 🌟

Every member of our family contributes something unique. The oldest one takes care of us and acts . The second child never fails to crack us up with jokes. Next comes the artist, who sees potential for creativity in everything. Our fourth sibling loves sports and is always ready to play. The fifth one knows all about technology and can repair any gadget. As for me, I'm fascinated by psychology always wondering about our thought processes and family dynamics.

Inside Jokes and Fun Times 😂

Our family has its own set of inside jokes that make us laugh. These range from childhood memories to funny nicknames, which bring us closer together. We love to play traditional Filipino games like "patintero" and "tumbang preso" in our backyard. The games get competitive, but we enjoy them a lot.

Our Tasks and Togetherness 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦

Our family shares the chores. We all help to keep our home clean and running well. Dad does the heavy work, mom leads the cleaning, and we kids split the rest. This teaches us about responsibility and working as a team.

But more than chores and fun, our family stands out because of how much we love and support each other. When we face problems, we tackle them together with smiles and big hearts.

This gives you a glimpse into my family and how we live. We're a lively, loving, and often noisy group, but I love it this way. I'm excited to hear about your awesome family styles too! 💖
