Tell your story#26 (An interesting and unforgotten journey)

Hello, my good friends; how are you all doing? I hope you are all doing well. I am so happy to participate in this contest, with the title of Tell Your Story.
And I want to thank @ruthjoe for this amazing contest.

I will be telling my story of my first time traveling to the northern part of Nigeria.

I have never traveled out from the East before.
So when my elder brother asked me to come and celebrate my Christmas holiday with him, I was very happy that I couldn't wait for the day that I would travel to finally come.
So on Friday, I told my elder brother that I would be coming on Saturday, and he said ok and that I should try and wake up on time so I could meet up with the first bus.

So I wake up as early as possible so I can get to the park on time.

I reached the park by 6:30 in the morning, and lucky to me I was able to meet up with the first bus
However, I was not able to get the one that is going to Nasawra State directly. So the driver advised that I should enter the one that was going to Benun State and that if I reached Benun State, I could get a car that went to Nasawra State.

I entered it, but there were no passages, so I stayed inside the park till 9:am before we started moving.

Since it was my first time traveling out, I was just busy asking questions; if we entered any state, I would ask the person sitting very close to me the name of the state we had just entered now.

We passed up to three states before getting to Nasawra State, and I have never gone to those states before. The names of the states that I passed are Cross River State and Benue State.

My elder brother, whom I was going to visit, was very worried, so he kept on calling to check up on me.

I got to Nasawra State by 10 pm at night; I never knew that Nasawra State was very far away; I was very tired because the journey was very stressful, but at the same time, I was very happy because I was able to know three different states in Nigeria that I have not been to before.

This is has been my best travel, because I got to learn alot of things. Indeed it is an interesting and unforgotten journey so far.
