Tell your Story #22" My encounter with one man on the bus
Hello, my wonderful Steemians; how are you all doing? Welcome to my blog; I want to thank @ruthjoe for this amazing contest titled Tell Your Story.
Enjoy reading my post.
This is a true life sorry, that happened between me and one man in the park
What happened
I was traveling to Eungu to do my holiday, so when I got to the park where I was supposed to enter the Motto, I had a misunderstanding with a man who was going to Eungu too.
I bought a ticket before the man and went inside the bus to enter the Motto, but he came to me telling me I should stand up from that seat, that he wanted to sit there.
I told him that I entered this before you, so why would you tell me to stand up, then the man got angry and said that I don't have respect for my elders, so I just respected myself and went back, because he asked me to go back in the back seat, that he need to seat in the front seat.
I went back as he said, and as we were going, something very bad happened, we ran into a bus that was coming back from Eungu, and people that were sitting in the front seat were injured badly, I just shouted Jesus and something just came into my mind, because I was seating in that front seat before that man asked me to go back.
What I learned
I learned a lot from this encounter with that man, because assuming I insisted that I must sit in that front seat, I would be among the person that will got injured in that accident, but I just respected myself, from this story I now know that everything happens for a reason, that no matter what happened, you should not always question God, and too always try to respect your elders, if not that I respected that man and stood up from the front seat, I don't know what would have happened to me.
I want to finally invite @dave-hanny, @echuku, and @vickyson to also join this contest today.
Thank you for participating…..
What an interesting story. It's always intriguing how simple situations can escalate due to misunderstandings or different cultural expectations. I can understand how frustrating it must be to deal with someone asking you to move, especially after you've already claimed your seat.
