Contest: Tell Your Story#23 (A very memorable day at school)

I'm a final year student in high school and I'm sure you know how high school girls can be right? Always walking in cliches, gangs or groups Well, here I am among one of the those high school crazy girls cliche. As of last week, after one of our very difficult biology classes, I wanted to take a little walk with my girls, but I noticed something very strange. Their attitude towards me changed completely for no reason what so ever.

I must admit, I was very hurt because I realized that all this while, they never even considered me as friend. They only wanted to be close to me for their own benefit, but at this time they told me they don't need my help anymore right to my face, and it hurt so bad. You know the saying that goes: "Don't judge a book by its cover"; well, yes this is so true. Had it been I had recognized all the false pretenses right from the start I would habe sabed myself all the embarrassment and hurt I went through that day.

But well, as we all know; "what goes around comes around". It didn't pass that day and they came back for my help after cursing at me earlier. They had some very difficult mathematics questions they had to practice to up their grades. Well of course, they came back to me with a hypocritical and sinister look on their faces just so I'd help them. I had every reason to refuse, but I thought to myself. The same way they need me today will be the same way I'll need them tomorrow, who knows?

So when people like this come your way, don't forget the saying: "Do unto others as you would want others do unto you". This simply means that regardless of the bad and ill mannered behavior given to you by others, never stoop as low as them. Remember, you have a future so you have to watch out for others now, so they'll watch out for you tomorrow!
