Hep..Hep... to all the dog lovers who are present in this community.

Usually, here in Philippines, we Filipinos loves dog or cat to be our pet. Some loves birds, rabbit and more. But most of the Filipinos really loves dog because as they say, Dogs are man's bestfriends. They are just like us, if we know how to train them they will definitely follow you.

Aside from that, according to our ancestors. You are safe if you have a dog. Aside from they are the one who will fight for the thief at night, they are also the one who will take the coming sickness in your house. They will be the one to get the bad vibes and aura inside your house. If you have dogs, your family is healthy.

You will know that sickness is coming once your dog is not well. Thats what they are saying.

My love for dogs started when I was in my elementary years. My papa used to have askal and named him same as his name. At first I was so afraid of dogs because I am afraid of needles esp when I will get bitten.

But as time passed, I learned how to love "Edot". He somehow, make us feel very safe. He always accompany us wherever we go.

But one day, when we were on our way to my lolo's house, he was hit by a cab. He got sick for a couple of days, bed ridden and died.

All of us really cried, and saddened by the death of the first dog of our house. So, I told papa not to have dog anymore because it really hurts us whenever they will die.

But when I got married, I marry a man who is a frustrated dog lover. He loves dog but he cant have one in their house because his mama will not allowed it.

And when we got married, he already had the freedom to adopt a dog. And here's the dog.

We named our dog as Popol from his game mobile legend. That dog was given by his friend. It was given when he was still a puppy, around 3 months young when he doesnt need the milk of his mother. And when my hubby's friend gave it to us, it was already vaccinated once so we just paid 500php(50steem) for his expenses.

And now Popol is now a month old. Very alive and jolly. He is a breed shitzu and poodle. And he is so cute and so good to us but when someone will get in and he is not familiar with, he is so angry and will really bark.

To those who are planning to adopt a dog, my advise for you is make sure you have extra money. Having a dog in your house is good but it is so expensive esp when it has a breed. You had to go to the vet regularly for his deworming, antirabies and vaccination. In his first 6 months, we have to go every month and we will be paying 1000php or more (100 steem or more) per session. And since he is already 1 year old, his deworming is every 3 months already and the other 2 is every year.

A bit costly because you also had to let your dog have a grooming by cutting the nails and hair. You have to buy their shampoo for good smell and anti - tick. You also had to buy dog food and treats.

But despite of all expenses, if you really love it you can surely surpass the expenses.

And aside from that, you can as well made it as a business because once they will have babies you can sell it. And in my dog's case, because he is a boy, we can still earn money from it if theres a girl puppy who needs a boy puppy to get pregnant. Of course, we will have a kasunduan its either they will give us money or give us puppy...

And just this week, we bought our langga to his vet for his anti-rabbies and deworming. I also bought a treat. And I paid 800php (80steem) for that session. Good thing my hubby gave money for the expenses.
