Christmas tree|| Quilling paper Christmas Tree
Hi friends,
I am Jyoti from India. I would love to participate in this cristmas tree contest: https://steemit.com/hive-168072/@fannyescobar/concurso-arbolito-de-navidad organised by @fannyescobar in Steem For Ladies community. I am going to show you how I made a Quiling paper Christmas Tree using quilling color paper in this post.
Quiling paper Christmas Tree-Craft |
---|
Required materials
- Quilling paper ( Green, Red, Ping, White and Brown)
- Scissors/Knife/compass
- Template
- Pencil
- Glue
STEP1:
I have made a Christmas tree craft using quilling papers for this competition. Quilling paper is a craft paper made from colored paper cut into stripes. This quilling paper is available in stationery stores and online. I ordered it online from Amazon. While making this craft, I needed maroon, green, white and pink colors, so I separated the stripes in those colors separately.
STEP2:
Then I took a green strip and rolled it into a spiral. I printed out a Christmas tree template and glued these rolled spirals onto the circles in it.
STEP3:
Then I took a maroon colored strip and rolled it up like a spiral. Then I glued the small circles on it with glue.
STEP4:
Similarly, I took a white strip and rolled it into a spiral. Then I glued the small circles on it with glue.
STEP5:
Next, I rolled and glued green on large circles and maroon and white on new circles.
STEP 6:
Then I took a pink strip and rolled it up and folded one part of it into a triangle. Similarly, I made five women and glued them all to the top of the Christmas tree, making them look like stars.
STEP 7:
Finally, I took a brown strip, rolled it up, and placed it at the base of the Christmas tree to resemble a tree's base.
Now the beautifil Quilling paper Christmas Tree. is ready to decorate my house.
What does the Christmas tree represent to you?
There are many decorative properties during the Christmas festival. One of them is the Christmas tree. Since Christmas falls in winter, I think the Christmas tree was created to remind us of the cold season. Also, since the Christmas tree is very beautiful when decorated, Christmas trees are decorated in houses, shops, shopping malls, public places, etc. Similarly, stars, balls, grape leaves, etc. are decorated.
What did you enjoy most when drawing the Christmas tree?
I generally like to do crafts and art. I especially like making Christmas trees. I have already made and posted many Christmas tree related crafts on the STEEMIT platform. This craft is a little different. Because, for the first time, I have made a craft using quilling papers. So the whole CRAFT work was enjoyable for me.
Which Steemians would you dedicate that Christmas tree to and why?
I want to gift this craft to my friend @shiftitamanna because she loves such crafts and has already made many crafts and posted them on STEEMIT. Hope she also participate in this interesting contest.
Share a special Christmas message with us?
On this Christmas Day, I would like to remember a sentence that Jesus said. "If we have 100% faith in ourselves, we can even walk on water." So, self-confidence is very necessary for everyone. Jesus healed many people from diseases with his self-confidence. Similarly, we should also do good to others with our self-confidence.
Take a selfie with your drawing?
I would like to invite

I really enjoyed seeing the Christmas tree you made and how beautifully you made it. I really enjoyed seeing a new origami you have presented here and in each of your origami I find something of Bafikram religion. If it is still there today, I really enjoyed it. Best wishes to you.
