Hello friend's, I'll love to write and draw about elephants. I believe you all will love it . And this my participation in the contest entitled;Let's do it...Do It Yourself👉Craft, Creativity, Drawing, origami, DIY, Recycling and more; created by @ngoenyi. I choose drawing because I love drawing.
Elephants
Elephants are the very largest animals that survive on land. They have large ears, long trunks, and a huge body.
Here are some Elephants' simple parts of the body that I'll get to draw.
Trunks: The elephant has a trunk, like a very, very long nose, which is used for eating, drinking, and even bathing. The trunk is strong; it is able to lift heavy things but also small things gently.
Ears: Elephants have big ears that help them keep cool. African elephants have bigger ears compared to Asian elephants. Their ears look like the shape of Africa.
- Tusks: I must say this part of the body we can simply used to identify an elephant. Tusks are the elongated, hooked teeth extending out of an elephant's mouth; these are used to dig, raise, and even for defense. Most of the people hunt elephants because their tusks are made of ivory.
Lifestyles of elephant
Social Animals: Elephants like to stay together, keeping company with all other elephants. They go in groups and generally are always followed by guidance from one older female or matriarch. They do communicate through utterances, sound, contact, and even non-verbal display.
Diet: The elephants eat plants such as grass, leaves, fruits, and bark. Most of their day is spent eating. An adult elephant can eat as much as 300 pounds of food in one day!
Lifespan: Elephants can live to 60-70 years. They have very good memories and are able to remember other elephants and places for many years.
Saving Elephants
Unfortunately, elephants become threatened due to habitat loss and hunting. Lots of groups do much in order to save elephants and their territories. This is relevant to support such efforts and contribute something for the salvation of these outstanding animals.
This is how I do the drawing of the baby elephant:
Step 1
Write 355 using the above-mentioned method - see picture below.
Step 2
Using the 5 and three, sketch the head and the trunk, as in the picture below
Step 3
From the tip of the five, sketch an arc downwards towards the foot as shown to show the leg.
Step 4
Draw a different curved line for the stomach downwards. Draw a little tail too. Finally, make the elephant look natural; he goes with a sitting cloth on his back-just as in the picture below:
Step 5
Almost done! Last but not least, go about shading your drawing. Note that the different sides require a difference in the depth of tone, which also can be reflected in the following shades:.
And here comes this drawing in, with the ultimate touch.
