Welcome to a new week of choices, I made my choice on the topics when I saw the contest post by @patjewell. Life has become so easy with technology and it is still advancing, just some days back when Elon Musk launched his rocket the first fire booster went off, coming back to its base which was not possible then, it would just come down and explode but the tower was able to hold the booster back.
Gadgets have revolutionized how we do things, it has made it very convenient and easier to go about things. It was so difficult to send messages across different countries to different people but with these gadgets, it is very easy to send messages across within a limited time.

Gadgets are small tools or devices that provide a specific function that makes use of both technology and design giving accuracy and functionality. Most gadgets or portable and easy to use.

Gadgets are categorized into different forms and they perform different functions, these types of gadgets and their examples are;
Electronic Gadgets
These are gadgets that make use of electric currents for their functionality. Examples of these electronic gadgets are; Smartphones, Laptops, power banks, Tablets, Gaming consoles, and smart TVs.Home Gadgets
These are tools that are used mostly at home, they help make work easier at home, and some of these gadgets are; security cameras, Air purifiers, vacuum cleaners, and so on.Medical Gadgets
These are tools used in the medical field to make sure things are easy and attain a certain path of accuracy. Examples of these tools are; Blood pressure monitors, Thermometers, ECG monitors, and so on.Industrial Gadgets
These are Gadget types used in the field of work to make sure the work is improved and also easy, just like the 3D printers it has replaced the old means of printing. Examples of these gadgets are; 3D printers, CNC machines, Drone accessories, and lots more.Educational Gadgets
These are tools used for educational purposes, it helps speed up the teaching process. These tools are; interactive whiteboard, digital microscopes, Educational robots, and so on.

My device has served me for months and years and it's still counting. I have used my mobile phone for taking photographs which I have used in Steemit. I would love to share some of those photos here

While reading about gadgets, I thought of the webcams that were installed in the office I work in. The primary purpose must have been to address some security concerns but it also revealed how beneficial technology had been in our lives.
Imagine if you didn't have a smartphone to take pictures for Steemit and you had to rely on an old gadget like a rolling tape camera.
The gadgets around us are a testimony of the innovations existing in this blue-green globe called Earth.
For real! It has gone a long way in this generation.
