The Diary Game #50: Share your day with us!

Hey everyone! I'm super excited to post my very first entry in the Diary Game on Steem for Ladies. I've been reading many posts here and got really inspired by all the stories of women. So I decided to take part in this contest and share my day with you all.

So, my day wasn't very inspiring and all, just a regular day spent with my friend. However, I did get to do something I've been wanting to do for some time, and I thought I'd share it with you all.

So, my day started with a call from my friend, telling me to get ready in an hour because she was coming to pick me up for some shopping and lunch. We've been friends since I was in fourth grade, and she was in sixth, as she's two years older than me. We lived in the same neighborhood and were part of the same group. We all used to play in the park in the evenings; it was quite a large group. Initially, we weren't very close, but as we grew older and other friends drifted apart, we became closer than ever. She's always been like a sister to me. So, it means she's that one friend my parents trust a lot, and just mentioning her name is enough for them to give permission to go anywhere. As soon as I hung up the call, I told my mom that Misbah was coming to pick me up for shopping and lunch, and she instantly said okay.

After breakfast, I got ready. Misbah came to pick me up, and we headed to the shopping mall, which was an hour's drive from our house. This meant an hour of nonstop talking and discussing the most random things with each other. We also listened to music during the drive.

Once we arrived, we did a little shopping. Misbah wanted to pick up a few things for herself, so we spent some time browsing the stores. After an hour or two of shopping, we were both quite hungry. In the shopping mall, there was an open cafe, so we decided to eat there. We enjoyed our pasta and sandwiches with drinks.

Now, onto the most exciting part of the day! I've been wanting to get a permanent bracelet for quite some time. I had made plans with other friends, but they never materialized beyond just chatting about it. I think the girls here would understand how tempting a permanent bracelet sounds, especially with friends. Since we were so close to the store where they do permanent bracelets and I was with my childhood best friend, I thought it was the perfect opportunity. I asked Misbah if she wanted to get one with me, and she was all in!

We checked the location of the store, and it was just 10 minutes away. We set the location on Google Maps and headed towards it. As we reached the store, we were so excited! There were so many chains and charms to choose from. Besides bracelets, they also offered anklets and necklaces, with a wide variety of options. They even had letters and engraved bracelets and necklaces, making it feel even more special and personalized.

We picked the same chain to have matching permanent bracelets. Since I love charms on bracelets, I added a very small charm to mine. After we decided on our chains and charm, they measured our wrists and cut the chain accordingly. Then, they used a special machine to permanently attach the bracelets, making them a lasting symbol of our friendship.

The bracelets looked so pretty, and I was so happy with our decision to get them done. Now, this bracelet will always remind me of her and all the special moments we've shared together. It’s a beautiful keepsake of our friendship.

After that, we just headed home. Overall, it was a perfect friendship date with my childhood best friend. I'm so glad we got to spend this special day together, creating memories and bonding over something we've both been wanting to do for a while. It was a day filled with laughter, great conversations, and a lasting keepsake to cherish our friendship.
