Photo of the Week Contest 12 | Sharing my best Photo of the Week.
Greetings, everyone. It's been a while since I was here. Examinations kept me away for this long.
My best photo of the week is the title for this little piece.
Eyes on the goal? Just as you can see, my eyes were fixated on something concrete yet abstract. Done with the previous semester's exams and we were divided into groups for supervision regarding our project and seminar works. Our project is been done individually and seminar in groups but of course we have quite a number of students under a particular lecturer (supervisor).
Yesterday was one of those days one had to be determinate and do all it takes to achieve a set goal. Ok got to school at 9:16 am hoping to meet with our seminar supervisor as soon as he gets into the office before he steps out to attend a project defense held at the department for our predecessors, but then I and my group members had to wait to see him all to no avail. But still we had to wait, hoping and praying he comes to school so we can see him, get our topics approved and be sure we are done with that part of the work.
With the wait came feelings of tiredness, partial regret and unavoidably hunger but then I still had to wait.
Yeah! At last we caught a glimpse of him getting into the defense hall (At least we won't have to categorize this day as a wasted day like we had thought before). Of course, we became lively again and hopeful that at least he'd see us but not without paying the price of waiting for him to finish up with the defense schedule.
We waited and was able to see him towards evening. He attended to us and we felt fulfilled. Wondering why it's the best moment for this week? We've been on this course since Monday and getting it done was one very significant thing for myself and my group members.
This won't be complete without the lessons... By all means possible, achieving a set goal should be a priority, applying patience even when faced with something that seems little yet big, shouldn't be underestimated. Imagine we left after waiting for a while! Being sure about seeing him some other time could prove abortive and that would have been a delay to us.
Thank you @m-fdo for this opportunity. You help us rewind on our activities for the week and that's beautiful.
I want to invite @imadear, @darasimi and @roselove to tell us about their best photos for the week.
