Photos are the best memories we can keep. The same event can be repeated but not the moment. That's why this "Best Photo" contest by @m-fdo is so great. Not only can we keep it as a memory, we can also share a little story behind the photo.

A little story about my sister

I chose this photo as the best photo this week because there is a struggle behind it. My sister is the first child of our family. I know very well the struggle she went through to get to college without any help from her parents, until she could achieve everything and get the best grades and make us all very proud of her.

My sister when she was in elementary school never got a rank in her school but without us realizing when she was in high school until now she turned out to be a person who was quite smart in her field. I am very proud to have a sister like her.

My sister and I used to fight about things, like when we did our homework together, when we shared a bedroom, and even when we played together. But now we even cry when I come home from my sister's place. It all became different when my sister got married and left our house. That's when I realized that I had a brother who was very kind to me.

The story before finally taking a photo together

In addition, this photo is also the first family photo that we took formally in the studio. There were several events before we finally took a photo together. In the morning before my sister left for her graduation ceremony, I woke up early to see the results of my sister's make up. After my sister was done I started to help take care of my sister and father to wear the clothes that had been prepared. That day I was so excited that I forgot that I hadn't had breakfast.

After everything was done, I waited for my sister to finish her program to take pictures in the studio. We queued for a long time until it was finally our turn to take pictures. Initially my sister didn't plan to take a photo using matching clothes. But because she suddenly wanted us to take a family photo, she told me to take matching clothes and headscarves at her house.

At that time I was very excited to go with my sister who we both did not know the road in the area. Until finally I didn't know the way and had to open Google map haha. But we didn't give up until I finally made it back to the studio.

I was so happy that we could finally get together and take pictures together because it was something we rarely did. Because my father himself always doesn't want to be invited to take photos together. Finally, we as a family forced him to take a photo together as a memory when we gathered together. The moment of gathering with family is very exciting where we can chat and laugh together.
