SEC16W3: Raising boys and girls
Hello steemians friends.
We met at the end of week 3 of SEC session 16. The Steem For Ladies community has presented a contest with a very interesting theme, This is about how we can educate children, both boys and girls.
There are many places to participate in this contest, I will invite my friends @muzack1 @sailawana and @arispranata5.
Gender is an identity. From birth we are identified by the differences between the two, whether male or female. When we were little, each parent would buy things differently. For their daughters, our parents might buy something red or pink, or something that is identical to things worn by women. If it's a toy, they will buy a baby figurine or a toy related to the kitchen. As for boys, they will buy cars, shooters or horse statues.

I am a father of my children. As a father, I believe that education should be the same. They have the same right to be given adequate education. Of course, with good norms and values, which prioritize respect, tolerance and empathy.
Both men and women must be educated to care for each other and want to share. Home is a place of learning that has no time limits. We can educate them all the time through our actions. Children can be taught about responsibility, about the kitchen and about gardens and spaces. They will continue to do so as they grow,
God created us in pairs. Day and night, there is morning and evening, and so on. There are also men and women. Both of them have nothing lacking and should not feel like they have any shortcomings. Only our war differentiates the two, but we must not forget that there are things that we must educate our daughters and sons about. Likewise regarding the way of education, they must be differentiated, each of them has a different physique. Introduce them to a culture that is worth following regarding clothing and other things.
Regarding school education, they do not have to be differentiated. Both of them have the right to get the best and highest possible education. As good parents, you should motivate them to try to get the highest possible education.

A parenting relationship should be such that parents are the first responders when the child is in danger, then the child will automatically show respect to you.

I appreciate you sharing this concept. It's nice to read anything from a parent, and I agree that both sexes should have an equal education.I hope the contest goes well for you as well.
Greeting friend @f2i5, You point out that gender is an identity of ours and that from birth we are marked by the difference between male and female, which is absolutely true and very real. You have focused more on the right of boys and girls to grow up together, where boys should be given the things they need and girls should also have their needs met. I also understood your point here. In as much we want to recognise some gender preferences while buying some certain things for them, it has no effect on their equality status but rather choices. Those opportunities that are demanding have to be determining factors which shouldnt prefrenced. Thanks adlnd good luck
