I hope you are safe and healthy. So today I thought of coming to you with a very beautiful post.
So guys, today I am talking about something Different.
Today is my day off so I thought it would be good if I went out for a bit.so I decided to climb Athugala rock.
So I got up early in the morning, prepared breakfast and went on my journey.
I'm happy to say. Came to the place without any trouble.

I spent the whole afternoon near the Ranthalia lake.
It is really beautiful.If you want, you can go on a boat ride around the lake.
This is really a beautiful place for lovers.
We can buy different kinds of delicious food here at an affordable price.

So if we talk about Aethugala, it is located in the Kurunegala district of the North-West Province.

Athugala is the shining pearl of Kurunegala city.
If we tell more about this, this city was earlier known as Hasti Shelyapura.

Another Athugala mountain is also known as Athagala
There are several rocks around here.Adagala, Elugala, Ibbagala, Kuruminiyagala, Yakdessagala, Angangala to name a few.
Some people say that the name comes from the people who came from Kururata in India in the past.
The genealogy states that before Mihidu Bhikshu came to Lakdi, it was the abode of adivasis, who resorted to Sun worship.

This Athugala temple was created by King Suratissa.
The Bo tree here belongs to the Anuradhapura period.
Along with the Pradana cave in this temple, there are other cave treasure

Therefore, it can be concluded that this belongs to the cave temples
There are many ancient artifacts in this Athugala temple.
Among them, the water filter, which is designed with a special Rocks, takes a big place.

Also in this place there is a Hindu temple made of the wood of the Sadun tree called Gale Bandara Hindu Temple.
But the sad thing is that nowadays most of the national heritages are being destroyed day by day.
It is the responsibility of all of us to protect them.
