Hello ladies in the community, am glad to present my entry on this week Tools to spark culinary inspiration, welcome to my blog and Stay tuned!

• Explain four things you would want to teach us about kitchen. Maybe something you feel is very important we should know.

As individual, we learn everyday even from our mistakes, learning is a continue process. In this contest, the four things I feel I should share with my friends are;

Keeping of dirty dishes

This is very common among African people. While trying to keep the kitchen neat, washing of dirty dishes should also be considered especially after dinner as it will help you to move to another task the following morning instead of going back to wash the dishes before preparing for the day.

Placed cylinder or stove on something

Keeping the cooking cylinder or stove in a bare floor is very risky. It is advicable, a cooking cylinder or stove should be placed on something such as a plywood, condemn flex etc. lifting up the base from the floor serve from easily damage as you may mistakenly mishandle by dragging it while sweeping.

Clean and cream the cooking cylinder at all time

After cooking especially when the meal pour on the cooking cylinder, make sure it is properly clean, then use a little oil such as olive oil, groundnut oil, Vaseline or red oil and apply on the body. This is the only way you will have a last cylinder free from rusting.

Take away your waste from the kitchen

Everything in life has a demerit and merit. Many people leave their waste bin/basket in the kitchen until it becomes full before they can dispose. This is not healthy at all, take a way your waste and dispose it properly immediately you finish cleaning the kitchen, it should be done on daily basis.

• Having all the necessary tools, does it make you a perfect cook?

No, to be a perfect cook it must have come with the experiences you learn so far on daily basis while cooking, apply it as you're having fun in the kitchen, from then, you'll make a difference in your cooking skill.

Also if I can read, watch videos and follow the expert(chefs) who cooks very well, I think I can be a perfect cook. We have many chefs in the world that cooks perfectly, learning from them is not a bad thing to me rather it is a where of improving myself to become better, so am always open and free to acquire new knowledge.

• When last did you clean up your kitchen and do you think it should be a daily activity? Yes or No, Why?

Well, it depends on the type of clean up. To me, I perform a clean up in two category

  • Thorough Clean up: These involve removing/changes position of my kitchen cabinets if need be, clean and rearrange it again. This process takes place once in a month and normally on the third of every Saturday which I know am off from work.

  • Daily clean up. Theses clean up involve everyday sweeping of the floor, washing of dirty plates and probably mob the floor as case may be.

Though I have my ways of cleaning up my kitchen, it should be a daily activity no matter how tire you may be, kitchen should not be kept unclean. This is the manpower of every home as such to enjoy it to the fullness, it should be clean, neat and tidy at all times to attract good look and nice smell. When the kitchen is clean, hardly you're have unfriendly friends like cockroach, flies, rats but when it is left unkept, they will have access to come around. Remember, keeping the kitchen clean is one of the healthy habit that should be done on daily basis.

During the week, I take s custard and bread as my breakfast. It is an healthy, quick breakfast that help maintain the body, strengthen the body to carry out daily activity successfully. It's contain essential nutritional health benefits such as protein, fat, vitamin A and vitamins D, calcium and carbohydrate.

In the afternoon, Afang Soup and Garri swallow was my lunch. Eating an heavy food during the day will reenergize me to finish up my day activities. It's will keep the body strong, smart to perform work effectively and also last me until the time I return back home without feeling hungry again.

My dinner for this day was snacks with tigernut drink. I returned back home very late around pass 10pm. Coming back from our midweek services, I got the snack on my way while the drink was homemade. Tigernut is very good and healthy drinks with protein, healthy fats, oleic acid, calcium and phosphorus that offers amazing nutrients to the body such as aiding in digestion, improve blood level, support healthy bones.
