"Contest: Tools to Spark Culinary Inspiration #12"
I am @akbarmia, from Bangladesh
Greetings to all Steemian friends. Today I will participate in a nice contest in the Steem For Ladies Community titled "Contest: Tools to Spark Culinary Inspiration #12". Thanks to honourable admin @ninapenda mam organizing a beautiful contest.
Food poisoning is a condition of food that refers to the presence of viruses, bacteria, toxins, etc., in food. And if we eat that food, we have to face various problems in our body. Food poisoning is usually from adulterated food, unclean, contaminated, old etc food. And by eating these foods, diseases like vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, stomach ache, etc., settle in our bodies.
Symptoms of food poisoning:
- Headache
- Vomiting or nausea
- Body fatigue or weakness
- Pain in various parts of the body
- Stomach pain and flatulence
- Diarrhea or loose stools
- Fever and chills etc.
Some tips to avoid food poisoning:
- Vegetables and fruits should be cleaned with good water.
- The food preparation area should be kept clean.
- Cooked food like fish, meat, dry food, etc. should be cooked and boiled properly.
- Before eating packaged food, you must check the quality and expiration date of the food.
- Drink pure water.
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap before cooking, during cooking, and before eating.
- Before storing food, hot food must be cooled well and refrigerated.
- Headache will or will be experienced.
- Sometimes there may be vomiting or nausea.
- The body will lose energy and suffer from fatigue or weakness.
- There can be pain in different parts of the body, hands, legs, and joints.
- May suffer from abdominal pain and flatulence.
- Diarrhea or thin stool occurs.
- Diseases like fever and cold also occur.
Just as food benefits our body, eating the wrong food also harms the body. So food should be eaten at the right and appropriate time. When a food is edible is discussed below:
- A food has a specific smell and colour when it is ready to eat, and when the colour and smell of the food change, it is not safe to eat.
- Fish, meat, eggs, vegetables, etc., are suitable for consumption after boiling and cooking at a good temperature. Otherwise,e, bacteria may remain in those foods.
- Packaged food is safe to eat as long as it has an expiry date; consuming it after the expiry date is dangerous and a threat to health.
- If we keep any food in the fridge, it should not be for a long time. The sooner it is eaten, the better for health.
- Care should be taken not to keep raw and cooked food together. Otherwise, bacteria can spread from raw food or vegetables.
- Reheating any food is not safe for health, as bacteria or viruses can grow in it.
- Care must also be taken in storing food and any food in excess should not be left out for more than 2 hours.
I invited them to participate in the beautiful contest @dove11 @enamul17 @ashkhan.
