Photo of the Week Contest 04 | Sharing my best Photo of the Week"
Greetings Ladies,
Trust we are all doing great? It's another week winding up again. Thanks to God for life.
Photos are for memories. Beautiful photos bring beautiful memories; funny photos bring back the laughter.
These photos below reminds of the worship concert I attended last year. It's the annual NIGHT OF WORSHIP ( NOW). Every end of the year, in November on a Friday evening, NOW is organized. It is a gathering of believers who come together to worship the Almighty God. It is always a beautiful experience. It started in 2014 and is held every year util COVID-19. It was suspended in 2020 and was resumed in 2022. Last year was the thirteenth edition of NOW. The convener pastor is Pastor Taiwo Bolodeoku from RCCG. Every year's NOW has a theme; last year theme was "Rivers of Living Waters".
NOW usually begin by 7pm at a chosen venue. Last year's venue was Eko Hotels, on the Lagos Island. Believers travel far and near to attend this wonderful worship concert. NOW usually organizes free big buses at different higher institutions and designated busstops. For my school, we usually have about 2-3 buses come to take us. The buses are arranged for both to and fro. Entry too is free. This philanthropic act encourages more worshippers to come down for the worship experience. Different gospel music ministers from home and abroad. Gospel ministers such as Akinwale, Segun Sax, Ada ehi , Judikay, Eben, Hillsong and many others including the RCCG Joshua Ville assembly choir.
On arrival at Eko Hotels and suites, everyone took shots. We also did. I took some photos with my colleague, we came from school together.

Worship started with the assembly choir at 7pm. After which we sang the national anthem and pledge led by the choir in a sonorious musical procession. At each turn with a brief media introduction , the gospel ministers came and led us in worship. We worshipped, sang and danced in the presence of the Lord. We also had prayer session led by a pastor from Joshua Ville assembly. At the end of the programme, Pastor Taiwo came and wrapped up with thanksgiving and closing prayer. And announced till next year NOW.
We all dispersed into the different buses we came in. We showed the tags we were given to enter the bus. Buses moved at 5am. We returned to school around past 6 am. It was still early in the morning, so
O there wasn't traffic.
I cannot forget this day in a hurry. It's always a beautiful thing worshipping in the presence of God with fellow believers in same faith.
