My... Romeo and Juliet

Hello ladies on Steemit! So exciting to be here after a long time. I find this contest topic particularly interesting.
For this contest, my Romeo and Juliet is no other than my amazing Pastor Obie Jason of Vertical Impact Church and his lovely wife, Pastor Juliet Jason.

I will call them the ideal exemplary couple☺️. My pastor and his wife have been married for seven years now. I admire their marriage a lot. It demonstrates that of a kingdom marriage.

Story before Marriage

Pastor Obie Jason is the Senior Pastor of our national fellowship, Rhythm 5 and the Lagos Church, Vertical Impact Church. The Church has other branches in Imo, Umuahia , Port Harcourt, Enugu etc. He is a devoted man of God, his labour for the ministry and love for the sheep is limitless. My pastor is a man of God with loving and caring heart towards his member. He demonstrate great leadership skills, in coordinating the different church branches towards disciplined and selfless service in ministry. Daddy as we fondly call him is an outspoken person, while Mummy J as we fondly call Pastor Juliet is a quiet, soft-spoken but firm person.

Pastor Juliet, worshipped in one if the branches in the East. She was serving under one of the Pastors when she newly joined the church. She started as a cell leader and then became a Pastor in the church too. I believe by divine orchestration, God revealed her to daddy as his bride. She is the leader of the sister fellowship nationwide , by the name "Above Rubies". She is charecterful and her heart is golden. She is a good woman of God and truly leads by example.

The Proposal

I recalled daddy telling us on pulpit during the Singles program how he proposed to mummy J. He invited her over. And offered her chocolates wrapped in sweet form. He had replaced one of the chocolate with ring and placed it among the others.
When she arrived, he offered them to her and asked her to pick one. Alas, she picked and she found ring in it. She was very surprised. What a sweet proposal!🥰.

Blessed Marriage

They got married January 7, 2017. Few months ago, they marked their 7th Wedding Anniversary. They are blessed with two adorable boys. I remembered a story daddy shared about the birth of their first son. At first, they decided not to have kids immediately. So when they were ready, the baby wasn't coming. So they visited the doctor. Shockingly doctor said, they can't have children. This news saddened mummy J. But Daddy spoke in faith that this wasn't the Lord's report. He told mummy to leave the battle for him and God.

Daddy took steps of faith, he proclaimed God's word every morning and blessed mummy J's womb, placing his hands on her stomach every morning as he prayed.He said, he did this every day speaking and declaring, calling the baby by name, and months passed. And to the glory of God, mummy J conceived and delivered of a baby boy. The boy was named with the name daddy gave him before his conception. Glory!!!

Shortly after a year, she gave birth to another boy. In fact the difference in their ages is not up to 2 years. This step of faith really moved me to increase my faith in God. It taught me how to tarry in praying and proclaiming in faith whatever I'm trusting God for. I'm blessed to be in this family of faith.

They relocated to United Kingdom about 3 years ago. Ministry is ongoing over there too and Daddy still comes to church in Nigeria for the annual church special programs.

Daddy tells us how he still sends loving romantic messages to his wife even though it many years they've been married. This is an act a loving husband must keep at, he said, women likes it a lot, it makes them feel loved.

I can say the two of them are love birds♥️. Their marriage is a blessed & beautiful one.
