"My photo album as a woman"

Greetings Steem Ladies & Men! How're you all doing today? I am very well , good to be here again.
Today, I shall share my memories with you all in the form of my photo album. Thanks to the admin for coming up with this wonderful title, that takes us down the memory lane. Walk with me as I share😊.
I clearly remembered being a fresher on campus. I was in year 2 offering nursing and nursing science. Every year 2 student on medical campus is a fresher the second time. Reason because, as year one student everyone stayed on the university campus, but students taking medical related courses crossed over to medical campus by second year after meeting a certain criteria including a minimum GP of 3.5. The 2018/2019 session had come to an end and the nursing students body, NUNSA (National Union of Nursing Student Association) organized dinner and awards night. It was my first dinner night on campus. I had won the best dressed female for the traditional attire during the fashion week that took place weeks before. So I got my makeup free. It was a memorable night, as I observed the whole award program, enjoyed the meal of jollof rice and chicken with drinks, there were other food options too. I attended with a few colleagues of my level, we were the juniors then. The photograph was taken at the end of the dinner party while it was dance time.
Oh what a blessed memory I can never forget. I was in a sad state because I had just lost my dearest mum few weeks before. She has gone to be with the Lord. I couldn't think of a better place to stay than the presence of God. I didn't want depression to step in, my exams were few weeks away. I needed to just pour out myself in tears, it could only be in the presence of God. I encouraged myself in the Lord , and went for the Night of Worship programme. It is a worship concert usually held in mid November where believers all over the nation gather to worship the Almighty God as different gospel ministers both Nigerian and foreign leads the people in worship. It is always a glorious time to pour out oneself in worship. The convener is Pastor Taiwo Bolodeoku of Joshua
Ville, RCCG. It is always a beautiful worship experience. After that night, I felt lighter, relived of burden and full of hope to God for a better tomorrow. Honestly, I didn't look like what I was going through.
This bridal shower of my friend was inevitable, otherwise I wouldn't have attended. It was held a week before the wedding and I was among the "asoebi ladies." This is term used for bride's friends and the uniform is usually traditional outfit.
Besides she encouraged me to be there and a way to lighten up my mood. Bridal was in late December,2022, wedding was first week in January. It was fun to be around circle of believer friends, all ladies. Meanwhile, the bride, my friend didn't the exact day or venue of the shower. We were in communication with the chief bride's maid who was the planner. Surprisingly, as arranged with the bride's maid, the groom to be brought the bride on the note to meet up with his mentor at the same venue. It was a beautiful surprise for her to meet us all in the decorated hotel room. She was shocked and happy same time. We prayed, played games, ate, gave our best wishes and presented gifts to the bride.
It was another fashion week as the session wound up. It was my fourth level in Nursing school, but sixth year on campus. University missed two sessions to COVID-19 and ASUU strike. Hence the length in years. This is the most interesting fashion week we've had in NUNSA. There were different theme for each day of the week. This particular day was Scrub Day. We were to wear the scrub for classes instead of our regular corporate. It was unique as we caught the attention of the school. In fact, our fashion week was the talk of the campus.
At the dinner party, for same session, we had something different for fun: a 360° video stand. Any one could go in turn to dance on the stand for 2 minutes to the music you choose while the video camera runs spins covering your dance all round in a 360 fashion. It was quite exciting. At this dinner, I also presented awards alongside a nursing guy as a female presenter.
These photos bring beautiful memories for me ♥️.
