My Topic is "CHILLI "

In my country Pakistan it is rare to go a day without eating chili. It is used in various meals from morning to night. Nowadays chili is a significant part of our diet.

Do you know about chilies ?

Pakistani chili did not produce in Pakistan it came from America. However Pakistan is now the top chili producer. People in Pakistan eat a lot of chili and Pakistan makes even more. Pakistan is the biggest place for growing, eating, and selling chili worldwide. farmers can make around Rs 3 to 5 lakh per acre by growing chili.

Green chili is good for controlling blood pressure. It contains helpful things like beta carotene, kryptoxanthin, and lutein-zeaxanthin. It also has nutrients like potassium, copper, iron, vitamin A, B6, and C as protein and carbohydrates. Green chilies have more healthy stuff that is good for the body in many ways.

Types of chilies

In my Pakistan you can find several types of chilies commonly used in local cuisine. Some of the popular chili varieties in Pakistan are:

1.Sufaid Mirch (White Chili)

2.Sabut Lal Mirch (Whole Red Chili)

3.Kashmiri Mirch (Kashmiri Chili)

4.Lal Mirch Powder (Red Chili Powder)

5.Gol Lal Mirch (Round Red Chili)

6.Naga Chili

Chili is a significant spice in Pakistan. it comes in both green and red types. the hotness of chili comes from a substance called capsaicin. Chili is used to make spices, chutneys, pickles, and sauces. Capsaicin and oleoresin, extracted from chili, have various uses in different industries of Pakistan.

Requirements for growing chili

Chili plants thrive in a hot and humid climate. they need a dry period when the fruits are ripe. high temperatures in summer can cause the loss of flowers and fruits. the best temperature range for chili cultivation is 15 to 35 degrees Celsius, with a night temperature of 16 to 21 degrees Celsius being ideal for fruit development.

Chili can be grown in different soil types, but it thrives in well drained soil. the best soil for chili cultivation is sandy loam or medium black loam with organic matter and it should have a pH value between 6.5 to 7.5. Soils that don not have good drainage are not suitable for growing chili.

Which chilli is better for health

Green chili can be better for you than red chili. Green chili is believed to be helpful for issues like ulcers and cancer while red chili can potentially contribute to these problems.

Green chili is a nutritious food that offers many benefits but consuming too much of it can lead to several issues. we will discuss the drawbacks of green chili.

Eating too many green chilies can be harmful especially for people who don not enjoy spicy food or have a low tolerance for it.

Having too many green chilies can lead to toxicity issues.

Some green chilies are extremely spicy and they can create a strong burning sensation in the mouth which may harm your taste buds.
