Witness Voting & Proxy Update From Steemleo | We Will Not Support Any Witnesses Who Take Justin's Bribe

Hey everyone!

Our last post was a call to action to either vote for the witnesses who support the Steem Community or set @steem.leo as your proxy witness vote so that we can do the voting on your behalf.

We will always side with the Steem Community and the witnesses who support the values of decentralization and making the Steem Blockchain thrive.

I woke up to the news that both @blockbrothers and @steemhunt have kissed the ring of Justin Sun and agreed to support his malicious hard fork against the Steem community’s best interests.

By supporting the statements made by Justin, these witnesses are agreeing to let the exchanges — Binance, Huobi and Poloniex — off without any repercussions by changing the power down window… ONLY for those exchanges. Thereby giving them special treatment and essentially a pat on the back for helping Justin install his SockPuppet witness accounts into the top 20.

As a long-time user of Steemify and an off-and-on Steemhunt enthusiast, I find this extremely disturbing and disappointing.

Apparently, self-interest and greed have led these 2 witnesses (who struggle to reach the top 20 on their own) to bow down to Justin Sun and agree to his demands.
