Lots of interesting context here, @taskmadter4450. It does feel like a very tenuous time, and the Steem community needs to better understand the intentions for Steemit by those who now hold the purse strings. I don’t think we can presume that Eli will not look out for the best interests of Steem. I do agree that she seems confused or is perhaps using confusing language. But I’m not sure why anyone would make significant plans for Steemit with total disregard for Steem. They are not the same but they are certainly tied. Wouldn’t it be like putting a nice coat of paint on your car and expecting that to help your vehicle’s engine? 😁
