steemalive friends, it’s another day to write about, from walking what we call “the 1 mile” to get our breakfast, to getting our fingers lacerated by binding wires; here’s how my day went:

Waking up by 4:15 AM I picked up my phone to check messages, some minutes later I logged into Mech Arena to claim tournaments rewards, and register for the next tournament, all these while these three guys were still sleeping beside me.
When they finally woke up by some minutes after 6, we went down the stream to wash some things and came back to wait for the 7 o’clock mark before we embark on the 1 mile walk to get foodstuffs.

now you guys won’t understand what I mean by that; see over here in Amokwe Item you can’t just wake up early in the morning and expect the grocery owners to be sitting in their shop waiting for you, man you gotta be kidding them! They’ve got things to do early in the morning at home Bro you gotta wait till 8 o’clock!

After buying the needful we went over to the iron store to buy some quarter rods for reinforcing the parapet of the building we are working on, after we were done we went back, prepared breakfast, ate and went off to work.

The weather was very hot so were sweating profusely, one of the guys I was working with said “this is the right time just go fall inside the stream” another said “you know what bothers me, we will be working tirelessly in the sun, then go to sleep when everywhere is cool”
We worked tirelessly cutting rods, bending them, setting them up on the woodwork and binding them with wires until late in the evening, and oh we didn’t get to eat in the afternoon and we totally forgot to buy something for lunch, after walking 1 mile on foot you’ll get a brain reset and totally forget what you planned to buy right? Right?
Let’s just skip to the evening because there wasn’t much going on an afternoon just worked until it was evening.

After we were done with working we went down to the stream to get our Bath then we embarked on another one mile journey to buy dinner together with lunch substitute Then we took our phones which was now fully charged but left the power bank (that monster need to charge for two days) and went home to prepare our dinner of noddles. When we were done with eating we watched some videos on tick-tok then I embarked on writing this post with Microsoft office text to speech, after writing it I had it read out loud to me to make sure everything was correct.
