My Weekly Work Summary as a Moderator in SteemAlive (March 06 - 12, 2022)
Introduction
You are highly welcome to my blog. I am @udyliciouz a Moderator in the SteemAlive Community. And this is my Weekly report of activities covering March 06 - 12, 2022.
The job of a Moderator
One of the things we look for on every post hosted on the SteemAlive community is the correct use of the steem-exclusivity tag.
Once you use the #steemexclusive tag, you are telling steemit that this post is created for steemit and for steemit only. Which implies that you are not going to place the same post on your Facebook or any other place.
And simple because steemit will love to have quality content that appears only on steemit, our work includes the use of 'smallseotools' as a Plagiarism checker to confirm that users are not abusing the steemexclusive tag.
How could the steemexclusive tag be abused
- By posting a content on steemit you lifted from your personal blog.
- After posting content on steemit it will be an abuse of the steemexclusive tag if you re-post the same content on your Facebook.
- By lifting content from someone's blog or website and posting it on steemit which will not only be a violation of the steemexclusive tag but will also be an instance of Plagiarism.
- True steem-exclusivity means that the content will only appear on steemit and nowhere else.
You need the steemexclusive tag to rally more support from the curators and your post should truly be dedicated to steemit if you must use the tag.
Other things we look out for
- We assess the formatting style
- The club status of the Steemian posting.
- Delegation to bots are also checked using the tools below

Observations/Commendation
A good number of new Steemians do not understand the concept of tags. So they manufacture their own tags. There is need to educate this newcomers on the relevant tags to be used.
Some new Steemians are still having issue with pictures sizing and orientation.
When I see such ones, I do not hesitate to correct them and give them useful suggestions.
I also referred them to a post made by @focusnow about the right picture size and orientation.
I am using this opportunity to commend posters in SteemAlive community for their efforts to produce content free from Plagiarism.
I am impressed with the good numbers of users who are producing nothing but original and steemexclusive content.
