Introduction

Hello Steemians, it’s good to be here. I haven’t really been active here due to how uneasy and restless I’ve been.
My elder sisters gave birth to a baby girl since the 9th of April and since then she has been experiencing this very serious pain in her stomach, we felt it was as a result of the fact that she gave birth through CS (Caesarean section).
At a point it became more severe, so we had to move her to the Rivers State University teaching hospital and she has been there for the past two weeks.

Fast forward to today

Morning

As at yesterday, we received an information that my sister was to be operated again today. We were really scared considering the fact that she has eaten any food or water for two weeks. But we kept praying for her through out the night.
We barely even slept last night but God helped us and it was morning.
My dad and I had to prepare really early, then we left for the hospital without eating any form of food or even taking our bath.
When we got to the hospital, they had someone who was on emergency in the theater already.
So we had to wait behind for my sisters turn.
While waiting, we kept committing her into the hands of God.

Afternoon

It was already past 1pm in the afternoon and time for my sisters surgery. We had to wait outside while she was taken into the theater.
We were really scared as it took them quite a long time to come out.
It was about two hours later, and one of the doctors came out with a substance inside a surgical plate. He told us that the substance was found inside my sisters stomach and it was said to must have been forgotten by the previous doctor that carried out the Caesarean section.
It was said that the substance was blocking the passage of urine and thereby making food substances not to digest and therefore making her stomach and every part of her body to be bloated.

Evening

About 5pm, my sister was brought out from the theater. We thanked and praised God, while we kept figuring how to deal with the doctor that almost wasted my sister’s life.
At about 6pm, my dad and I left the hospital while my mom and one of my sister stayed back to take care of her.
When we got to the house, I made dinner for us to eat then we took our baths and rested.

Conclusion

We return all the Glory to God for my saving my sister’s life and putting the devil to shame. My day was really successful and filled with so much joy afterwards.
