INTRODUCTION

Hi guys, i hope y'all are doing great from wherever you are. Basically this period of the year is usually a festive and holiday period. So within the week, i decided to travel on Saturday 19th December 2020, to see my mum and loved ones as well as to spend some beautiful time with them. I finally travelled on Saturday, and i am here to share my stressed journey experience with you guys.

Dear Diary

I woke up on Saturday 19th December 2020 by 4am, I prayed and quickly had a brush and my bath. We had already agreed with a tricycle man to come pick us from the house to the park where we will board for our travelling at the rate of 1,500 naira Nigerian currency, which is approximately 17 Steem.

We were 3 that went on our journey (myself, my younger sister and my sister in-law). We were done preparing by exactly 5am and the tricycle came around to puck us to the park.

We got to the favourite transport company we normally use and their rate was a bit on the high side, we had to change location. Though it was still dark, so i couldn't take pictures then.

We got to the second company and the prize was quite average at 9,000 naira Nigeria currency which is approximately 101 steem.

We took off immediately, headed to Abia State Nigeria, located at the eastern part of Nigeria.

Me in the car

We didn't stop in much places, because we encountered a whole lots of traffic congestions on the way right from when we left Lagos State Nigeria.

This traffic down here was along Lagos Ibadan Express Way. It lasted for about 2 hours before we were able to leave the traffic.

Because of the several traffics on the road, our driver had to keep going without stopping for a relief.

Finally, we stopped at Ore around past 1pm to just ease off a bit and continue. It was a huge relief as we came down to stretch our legs a while.

Myself and my sisters

We continued our journey after about few minutes rest. I slept almost all through the journey. I was so stressed out, my legs pained, my body pained and i couldn't help but sleep to forget about the pains. I was just sleeping and waking to ask the driver, where we have gotten to.

On one of the occasions, i woke up by past 5pm and i found out that we had gotten to Onitcha in Anambara State. We were already on the River Niger and River Benue Bridge in Onitcha along Asaba Road Nigeria, as seen in the below picture.

Under the Bridge is located the River Niger and River Benue. Though i couldn't capture the whole view, but we can see a slight of it from the below picture.

I went back to sleep after having some view of the river. The journey was damn boring and stressful.

Finally, we arrived at Umuahia Abia State by past 10pm, after series of traffic congestions. Though, so many persons were travelling at the same time, this was the major reason for the congestion.

We boarded a bus going to our axis, Ikwuano Local Government Area. The bus stopped us in a junction where we needed to take bike to my brothers house, as it was too late to move down to my village.

But fortunately for us, the bike guy was going to our direction, by then my sister in-law had left for her house.

So we agreed with the bike guy to take us down at the rate of 1,200 naira, which is approximately 14 steem.

We finally arrived home by past 12am in the morning. When we got home, my mum and every one home was already disturbed. There was a heavy breadth of relieve immediately we entered the house.

I was already exhausted, my body was pained. My sister's own same. I could literally not able to walk well. I had to freshen up immediately and went straight to bed.

This was how i spent my Saturday, 19th December 2020 so stressed out.

Nice having you around my post, thanks for visiting.

Beat regards

@ceendy20, yes ma'am.
They all cool.

It is always scaring for me when traveling a long distance because of the traffic congestion. But thank God your journey was a success

@exceptional20, yes it is something else.
Both the distance and traffic congestion is nothing to write home about.
