Hello my fellow steemians, happy Sunday to you all. I am delighted to be alive to write about somethings I have passed through this few days of my life being at home. Let get started..

INTRODUCTION

Today Sunday the 13th of March 2022, it is exactly 14 days I was with a baby boy my nephew, his mother is an online student so she use to go to school to write exams for two weeks at the end of every semester.
To start with, kudos to the mothers especially the "Single Mother" who have to raise a child for years alone it is not easy to raise a child from the beginning.

MORNING

Taking care of baby who is just above 1 year and 2 months plus is a though work to do.
In the morning when the child wakes up you just have to take off his panpers, bath the child wear the child a new one panpers to avoid the child defecating anywhere in the house.

Before I continue let me introduce to you my nephew "Opuebi" He is just 1 year and two months plus now. Looking at this boy he looks very gentle but on the other hand he is not (smiling).

FEEDING THE CHILD

You see feeding Opuebi is really very difficult sometimes, he can be very happy eating sometimes, then he can be hungry and still not willing to eat because you don't do what he wants smile.

In many occasions you have to force him to eat, he does not like seating too long to eat before you know it he will stand up from the seat and be walking around and you have to follow him around before he eat his food. And if you don't do as he wants he will not eat that food. He will feel happy when you feed him while he is playing and you are feeding him.

Once he refuse to eat again then you have to think of what he needs next. In dealing with a child you have to read their minds know what they want at every point in time that way you will be able to make peace with them.
Still in the morning
Opuebi will not take time trying to sleep at the early hours of the morning. He will keep disturbing you so he can sleep he cannot talk so he cannot tell you what he wants. You just have to read his mind.

When I make him seat on the seat he became very angry with me crying very seriously because he does not want me to drop him.

In the above image as you can see unless I carry him on my shoulder he won't stop crying, because that is his best position in his father body once he want to sleep. So by doing this when I got tired carrying him on my shoulders I have to back him.

In many occasions they are not even ready to sleep but just willing to stay at the back of someone. He might be at your back for minutes before he gets to sleep.

AFTERNOON

In the afternoon I have to make sure I have taken my bath before he wakes up when I have made him sleep in the early hours of the morning around 9:30am. When Opuebi is awake it is difficult to do something else he is always very stubborn stressful, he picks things from anyhere trying to spoil things.
Since you won't allow him you have to fight him.
After he wake up see what he is doing

He was busy carry bottles where they were kept from one location to another.

When doing this you can't even stop him from playing with those things. O difficult to deal with.

You see how he is struggling with those bottles when he becomes tired he will want to sleep and starts crying.

EVENING

In the evening I have to prepare the food he will eat because when night fall he will not eat as expected rather he will be crying trying to sleep instead. But sometimes he will not sleep early he will be playing till around 10:00pm. We will have to carry him at the back or carry him at shoulder.
When he is ready to sleep you have to carry him on the shoulder because he cannot just lay down and sleep all by himself without crying and letting someone to carry him.

CONCLUSION

Having a baby and raising the child is not easy come to talk of raising a child all alone it is not an easy job to do. Am sure those guys out there impregnating young guys and not marrying them assuming they are doing this themselves alone they won't impregnate girls.
That is why I said mother's are really trying in raising a child. The expenses involved, the troubles and many others it is not easy.

Here I come to end of telling you how it is not easy to take care of a child alone.
