Introduction

Greetings to everyone and welcome to our weekly Road Show Summary. SteemALive is community that is full-time into promotion of Steemit. Our mission is to help the Steemit achieve the 3 Rs - Recruitment, retaining and Rewarding new users. We continue to launch various projects and activities which are geared towards achievning the 3Rs. One of the projects we have designed for promotion is the Steem Road Show. It is perhaps the largest, coordinated promotion activity for Steemit in Nigeria. This post will help us track our Promoters Steem Road Show and other promtion activities.

How Significant is the Steem Road Show

The significance of the road show cannot be overemphasized.The postive result that it has yielded is glaring on our faces.Because of the many positive results that have come from the Steem Road show,we are not planning of stopping it anytime soon. It is in fact or biggest promotional activity in the community. Here are 3 reasons why we hold the Road Show in high esteem:

Creating Awareness: It is very obvious that the steem Road Show has helped to create more awareness for Steemit in the cities where we do it.The cities include but not limited to Aba,Uyo, Umuahia,Lagos,Port Harcourt,Owerri among others cities. When people see us as we participate in groups in various cities, they have the opportunity to learn about Steemit and know what it Stands for. Even people that will not eventually join us have come to know that something like Steemit exists. So by creating awareness in our local environments, the Steem Road Show has been a powerful tool to help us spread the word about Steemit.

Building the Steem Brand: As a business, Steemit needs to show that it is a formidable brand locally and internationally. When people hear about Facebook or Whatsapp, they understand how big a brand those platforms are. The same is happening with Steemit. People are starting to see that Steemit is not a joke. They are beginning to take it serious because they see us in our branded gear each time, doing our promotions. When the general public sees our consistent efforts during the Steem Road Shows, it creates the idea in their mind that Steemit is as big a brand as other social platforms they know.

Recruiting New Users: Recruitment is an important tool in our community and the road show has presented itself as a potent way to recruit newbies. We have been able to achieve this goal repeatedly. When we go out and talk to people at busy roads in the city, we find many that are interested to join. We sign them up and help them join the Steemit paltform. Each week, we recruit and mentor a large number of new users through the Steem Road show. Our success in recruitment through the Road Show has made this project very important and dear to our hearts.

Supporting our Promoters that Participate in the Roadshow

We cant deny the fact that participating in the road show is a big sacrifice.The promoters spend a lot of time standing on the busy road to tell people about Steemit.Sometimes they are beaten by the rain and the sun too.We have encouraged all our Promoters to make a post about their Road Show activity using a general tag #roadshow. Additionally, we decided to make this update post once every week so that after making their Road show posts, they can drop the links as a comment on this post so that we can see them easily and support them using the community trail.
