Introduction

We are really excited to revive our Power up project called Power2Soar. This project has been a regular feature of the community since it was launched. We discontinued the project when we launched the City Curator Project. But right now, its time to bring it back to life and motivate our members to think in terms of powering up earned or purchased steem.

What Happened to City Curator Project and Why bring back Power2Soar

The City Curator project was a project we used to replace Save2Soar. We we trying to build a city curation account through the project. In the city curator account, participating members were to contribute 5 Steem every week. We started with much enthusiasm. But unfortunately, many were not meeting up to the demands of sending the savings. SO after some weeks of little or no savings from many of the members, we decided to dicontinue the project and instead restart Power2Soar which was a successful power up contest before we discontinued it.

The CIty Curator accounts have been powered down. Each member will receive their contributed savings in their wallet. Now with the funds available once more, we are channeling it into Power2Soar. That is why now is the best time to restart Power2Soar, given that the City Curator Project has not worked as planned. Additionally, this contest will be an opportunity for intending members to build their SP and join the the CryptoAcademy which will kick off in the next few weeks.

The brand New Power2Soar

The new Power2Soar will retain most of the features of the previous one except for few changes. We will reward participants as much as we can. Here are the features of this Power2Soar project:

• Duration: It will take place once every 2 weeks. We will select Mondays since the community already uses Mondays for contests. So starting from the coming Monday, Power2Soar will happen every two weeks interval.

• Prizes: We will have Steem Power Delegation prize, as well as outright SteemPower Prizes to winners. Other prizes will still come as soon as we launch the first edition this coming Monday, 31/8/2021. We will raise the prizes from the community as well as donations from advanced members of the community

Conclusion

Most of the City Coordinators have started sending the Savings back to the wallets. We encourage our members to use their received savings to power up on Monday and stand a chance of winning bigger and amazing prizes. We really appreciate everyone that has support our projects.

We normally check our projects from time to time to see what is working and what is not. We improve on ones that are effective and discontinue with those that are clearly failing. Together, we will be able to achieve greater things together as a community.
