Introduction

We are happy to let you know that our update #17 is very much ready.We are expecting an improved activity and updates in this new year.This is supposed to be an second update for the new year and our 17th update so far.We are enhancing projects that are already working well in our community. That is why we need to make this update so you can stay in touch with our community activities. Lets see whats up.

1. Our 2022 Roadmap

Once a new year begins, its normal to aspire to do things better. So we have made a roadmap post, outlining some of the things we hope to accomplish in 2022 and how we will go about working on them. For example, we have set an ambitious target to accumulate 250k SP by year end. This we will seek to accomplish by utilizing various SP accumulation ideas. 2. Delegation to SteemAlive - 11,509 SP

The importance of growth in whatever we do in life cannot be over-emphasized.One of our strategies for growth this year is our delegation project. For the very first time, we are asking our community members to delegate some of their SP to us. Ofcourse, they would be supported using the community trail. We made an invitation some days ago to our members to Delegate to us. We are thrilled to see as much as 40 person who have delegated to the communit and so have given us a combined Delegation of 11509 Sp. IF you have not delegated to us, what are you waiting for. 3. Growing our curation trail

Our Curation trail remains the biggest among the rest.This implies that we have the most popular curation trail on the Steemit platform with 852 followers.In our last update the Curation trail has 832 followers and now it has 852 followers,indicating an additional 20 followers. Currently, our trail voting value is between $3 and $5. We are seriously working to increase the number of accounts following our trail. In fact accoding to our Roadmap for 2022, we have set another ambitious goal of increasing our trail followers to 2000 by the end of 2022. We hope to see that work out.

4. Total SP 44,042

We are glad to announce that our community effective SP is now +44k SP. This increase is as a result of the recent delegation which we demanded from our members.As much as 40 persons responded and there are still many who travelled or are in places where the network is not strong. We hope that as they come back, they will support our community with the delegation of their own. We use this opportunity to thank all 40 persons that have supported this move. We hope to grow bigger soon.

5. Upcoming Projects

We will be initiating a few projects this 2022. We will review all our projects and see the ones that are inactive. We will check their value to the community and consider restarting the ones that will help us grow in 2022. For example, we will start SteemAlive Engagement League (SEL). Many of our members have also called for the return of LID reporting. We will critically look at these and other projects to see how far we need them in 2022. We have called on our community members to also brain-storm and propose any projects they believe will be to the benefit of the community. We are eager to do anything that will contribute to our growth and progress.

6. Leaders Report

We appreciate all our leader:state representatives and team leaders across the various states and cities. Our leaders deserve accolade for the enormous efforts they put in recruiting, mentoring and supporting new users.Most of them are yet to produce their weekly report except for Goal-Getters Team Coordinator @ijelady, who has been outstanding in her efforts in Uyo. We hope to get other reports as they become available. Meanwhile, here is @ijelady's report below:

7. Contests

Contest is one of the most important things we do in our community.It is means creating engagement among the community members.We do contests every week. This week, we have published a new contest and we are confident many of our members will participate. Here is the contest for the week:

8. Our New Projects

We have got some projects for the new year.This projects will help to build the community and to support our teeming members.It will also help our newbies too.Here are some of them.

a.) All4One Project

All4One was launched last week as one of our experiements to help us build communitySP faster than we are doing. After all, we have set an ambitious target of getting to 250k SP by December 2022.
